Good course/slow pace

This is a very nice course. Relatively short but tight fairways. A couple of greens are damaged. The only issue with this course is the pace of play. Between leagues and senior golfers, it can get slow. Pace is not usually a problem for me. But, when you park your cart 20 yds short of the green or wait for your playing partner to hit before you look for your ball, it gets frustrating.

Will be great soon

Played 18 today. Tee boxes need some work. Fairways are good. Greens were good. Only 2 or 3 greens had visible damage that effected putts. Course played fast. In a month this course will be beautiful.

Good conditions given harsh winter

The course was in relatively good condition. Fairways were good. Greens have been sanded recently so they were bumpy. Fescue is still dormant. This course will be in great shape in a month and absolutely beautiful in 3 months. It’s a good layout that offers challenges from every tee.

Terribly Condition

Played Dyker for the first time this year. Course was in terrible conditions. Tee box grass was like first cut rough. Fairways had a bunch of dirt patches. Bunkers were like cement in some areas and insufficient sand in others. Rough was US rough along with British Open fescue. The only positive were the greens. Greens were in decent shape considering a few greens were being watered just before approach or tee shots. Will go to Marine Park next time.

Tough course on a cold and windy day.

Tee’d off at 9am. It was windy and temps around 23. Green were rock hard. Had to land approach shots short for the bounce. Fairways and tee boxes were decent. No beverage cart or water on course. I guess in the cold it gets overlooked. I will play it again because I would like to learn my lines off of the tees. This course will be fun when it warms up. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

Need Rangers

Pace of play is brutal. Need to have course rangers. Too many beginners that play from the blue tees, rehit off tees, don’t fix divots, and don’t care about pace of play etiquette. Great short layout. Course was not in good condition.

Slower than a PGA tour round

Firstly, I don’t have anything against beginners. When you go out to get in mid afternoon round of golf the worst thing that can happen to you is to play behind a foursome that hits it all over the place, play slow, and takes multiple tee shot a piece. Practice is for the range. My son and I spent 10 mins on each green practice putting and chipping because the group in front of us would either be on the tee or barely off of it. Brutally slow and frustrating round!!

Poor pace of play

Great little course with tricky greens. I really wish they had rangers pushing pace of play. Group in front was horrible We stopped at 16.
