Black Bush Golf Club - Course A
Played On 08/23/2015Summer rain
Played after 24 hours of persistent rain. Fairways were clear, no casual water. Greens designed very well, only a few puddles and overall not effected.
Played before in dry conditions and course was immaculate.

A fine course. Some fantastic holes. No complaints. Greens were remarkably great for February. Cut, rolled and not a blemish on them.

Excellent course. Superb greens and lush fairways. Some difficult greens to hit and hold on this course. Suits the player with the natural draw. One of the best courses in Connaught.

Very well maintained course. Sandy bunkers, lush fairways and rolling greens. No bad holes on this course. Greens are well defended. It's on my re-visit list. Back 9 take in mature parkland features and some great challenges across water. Only gripe would be, for the visitor a course map on the scorecard would be useful.
Castleknock Golf and Country Club
Played On 06/08/2014An Ace
Play here on a regular basis as a visitor. Greens are fantastic all year round. Course stands up to brilliantly to heavy rain and tough winter going (no temp tee or greens). Superb in summer months. Always in immaculate condition - for a course that must see the heaviest traffic in Dublin. Friendly and helpful staff. Opening hole should grab your attention with water all down the left. 6 is a great par 5 dog leg over water. 9&18 share a tough green.. stitch it and earn a round of applause from the gallery up in the 19th.
