Played On 04/05/2016Give Black Bear a try with a Golf Now Hot Deal
Overall conditions good. About 5 greens have some areas that had no grass but are still playable. I would bump the ball in the fairways for a more enjoyable experience. Get a good deal from Golf Now and it will be worth it.

Golf Now had $17 hot deal I couldn't pass up. Course is a good challenge and conditions were excellent. There was a girls college tourney proceeding my tee. I played as a single hitting 2 balls and shot even par. I call it the One Man Scramble and it is really good practice. Look for a hot deal!
Eagle Dunes Golf Club

Eagle Dunes is a real fun track. Fairways and greens excellent shape. No aeration issues. Staff very friendly. Have played there many times driving from The Villages. I don't mind playing by myself hitting 2 balls and try to shoot even par (the one man scramble). Got Golf Now Hot Deal for $10+fees.

I drive 45 minutes from The Villages just to play this place about 10 times a year. Great layout and conditions on this challenging course. Get the "hot deals" the day before or day of your play.

Course is good shape - Greens excellent. Enjoy the course by not playing it too far back. Golf Now Hot Deal rate $20 + fees.
Candler Hills Golf Club

Best conditioned public course in the area probably due to Ocala Open next week. Always fun to play. Tees, fairways, greens all real good.

Great course as always. Greens, fairways and tees all in good shape just prior to Ocala Open.
Thank you for your review. Our apologies we recently sprayed a few goose grass areas, the goose grass is gone and the few spots left around the edges of a few greens are filling in nicely. Not sure of the need to bump the ball in the fairways as ours are the most plush of the courses in the area!
