Great course in good condition, staff not so much.

Course has changed ownership and new owners seem to be trying to improve things. My biggest compliant was hole #9 was closed so our round was only 17 holes
Island West Golf Club

Course was in good condition, the only problem was they had no ranger and it took us almost 5 hours to play. Does not make for a good time.
Golden Bear Golf Club at Indigo Run

Have played this course in the past and it was great. This time the fairways were thin with large brown spots. Greens were same way, very little sand in the bunkers just looked like the course had not been taken care of.
Other courses on the island were great, so it was not the weather
Eagle's Pointe Golf Club

Pace of play was good. Enjoyed the course except for the greens, looked like they had been arrerated and sanded two to three days before. Would not have played this course if I had known.
The Golf Club at Hilton Head Lakes
Played On 5/26/2013Will be a good course in a couple of years, needs time to mature.
Enjoyed the course except for the amount of time required to play. The management allowed more than one 5 some to play on Memorial Day week end. This should be a 3 to 3 1/2 hour course, took almost 5 hours.
