well maintained, great greens

The entire coure was in great shape, but especially the greens. They were all immaculate. Very firm and very fast. Careful on those downhill sliders!

Excellent Military Course

The Gold Course at Paradise Point is not your typical military base course. The greens were in perfect condition, although not as fast as you might think looking at them. There was a moderate amount of standing water throughout the entire course, but considering the amount of rain that the area has had, it was very playable. It is a very enjoyable course for basically any skill level, although the course has a rule you must have a 24 or better standing handicap to play.

Good Value, but Greens Need Attention

I used to be a member of this course a few years back, so I really like the layout, but they are struggling to keep several of their greens alive at this point. The tee boxes and fairways are in good shape for the most part, but there are at least 8 greens that have large dead areas.

Shorter Course, Yet Still Challenging

Honey Creek is not a long course by any stretch. It actually is a bit short. However, there are still only a few holes where you can really "Grip it and Rip it." The course is well guarded by OB markers, oftentimes on both sides of a hole. With that being said, it still plays very fair for virtually all skill levels. The course is in descent shape, especially considering the time of the year played (October) and the amount of rainfall in the area.
