Cheadle Golf Club
Played On 12/28/2017A pleasant 9 hole course
Firstly you may find the professional hard to find but when you find him he's very friendly. There is a nice practice putting green and practice net by the 1st tee. Unfortunately it was frozen when I played so were on winter greens but the fairways and greens looked in good condition. The best part of the course is the meandering brook with ducks and the abundance of squirrels throughout the course.Overall a very pleasant 9 hole course.

Firstly the clubhouse is very nice and their is two practice nets although these were slightly broken.
The putting green was very reminiscent of the greens on the course. The greens on the course are quite fast but look to be well kept.
The fairways were in good condition and the rough was likewise
Quite a few holes play steeply uphill and steeply downhill with the latter having quite stunning views across the Peak District.
The last 5 or 6 holes are flat and have many interesting and beautiful water features with a final hole with a tough sloping green.
Overall a lovely, picturesque golf course in the countryside of Cheshire and great value for money

First of all the tees were in very good condition and the semi rough was a reasonable length so that it was longer than the fairway but not too long to make your shot too hard. The fairways are in fair condition and easy to play from, furthermore the Greens were running well ,however they were a little hard although that can't be blamed on the course as it hadn't rained in weeks. However the worst part of the course was the bunkers as they were too hard and lacked lighter, less dense sand.but overall i had a pleasant experience on the golf course

The staff in the clubhouse were very friendly and a nice putting green to practice on before you start. The tees are not the best as they have some weeds on them, but overall they are fine. The fairways are in great condition with very good grass to play irons off. There is many trees on the course but don't interfere with play. The greens are in reasonable condition but some could do with being brushed to get leaves and seeds off them. The worst point of the course has to be the bunkers as they are as hard as concrete and lack the component of much sand. But overall I would recommend this course as one of the best 9 hole courses I have played at and is a good challenge.
I played here on Sunday what a gem, plenty to think about, great layout and most holes are interesting, loved it for my first time here, will definitely be coming back, staff very accommodating.
