Creekside Golf & Country Club
Played On 02/19/2023Some progress made
Most of the greens are in far better shape then they’ve been in the past. New signs at each hole with yardage and layout are nice. Carts are probably close to their last rounds. The worst part of the round was spending 6hrs to get through it. Having to wait 10 - 15 mins at each hole makes for a long, irritating day at the course. A Marshall was out and stated “there’s no where to speed people up”. However, when you get to hole 15 & find hole 17 completely clear and a foursome not in any hurry to make their way to the 16th green, you know this isn’t accurate. Course improvements alone will not guarantee anyone will put up with that frustration.

Always a great course for the $$. Kudos to the maintenance team for keeping the course in excellent shape. All 18 holes are open again and the new bunkers look great. Best value for your $$ in the area.

I really enjoy this course. Usually, I only have the ability to play on weekends. The pace of play on the weekends has made me stay away from the course. Getting a chance to play today (Friday) was great. 18 holes in 3.5hrs. Greens were in great shape and just the whole course in general.

Course is greening up beautifully. In my opinion, it is the best course in the area for the price you pay. Cannot be beat. Will be even better once the construction is finished and you can play all 18 holes again. But please keep the pricing and conditions as they are and you’ll undoubtedly have no problem filling tee times.
Wolf Creek Golf Course
Played On 12/06/2020Good late season round
Course is in real good shape for this late in the year. Caught a good price via TeeOff which made it worth it. Unfortunately the deals seem to be pretty limited this year. I wouldn’t pay the full (normal) asking price to play here, but it is a fun course to play. Pace of play was a little slow due to a foursome that seemed to be playing from tees that were outside their caliber and extreme over-analysis of the greens. All and all a good day on the course.

Haven’t played the course since Apr 2018. It was a fun course then and still remains a fun, challenging course. However, sometime between then and now the greens have been destroyed. I play quite a variety of courses in the area and some have courses have a tough time maintaining the greens into late summer/fall. But these are to the point that there is little to no grass. I don’t see these greens coming back without extreme intervention. Disappointing since the rest of the course seems to be in decent shape.

Course is in real good shape, even post-aeration of the greens. The only minor inconvenience was pace of play. We were informed at the first tee that the foursome in front of us “always plays slow”. I understand the the course doesn’t want to turn away $$. But if you know a grouping is going to bog things down, then you need to address it with that grouping. You shouldn’t make others pay the price.
Creekside Golf & Country Club
Played On 08/21/2016Shaggy, sand covered greens
Played the course in April and wasn't too surprised that the course was not in great shape since it was early spring. Got a decent foursome rate for a Sunday and figured I'd book it and see if the conditions were better. We were pretty disappointed in the course upkeep. The only area that seemed to be mowed were the fairways. Very deep roughs made finding balls a challenge and putting was nearly impossible due to the shaggy greens that were in very bad shape. When I asked the counter staff if the schedule looked busy for the day he replied "nope, but unfortunately that is the norm for us". Not worth the asking price to play unfortunately, won't return unless I hear of some drastic improvement. Too bad, it's definitely a challenging and well designed course.

Thank you for your comments. We continue to make efforts to improve Creekside. The Back 9 is closed to re-do the greens and the greens are growing in nicely. We expect to re-open the Back 9 on or around January 1 and look forward to seeing you and your foursome soon.
