Not just straight up and down

The south course isn't exactly just for beginners nor is it easy. It has some really nice, challenging dog legs. Used all my clubs in the bag. Nice fairways and greens. The upkeep at this place is really amazing considering its a public course. The price is more than others, but you really get the golfing experience with it. The electric carts are a dream. So quiet and rides really smooth. Definitely playing this course again.

Great 1st experience

Their electric power cart was stellar. No GPS on board but the ride was smoooooth.

Course conditions were excellent for a public course.

Drink cart comes around often with a good selection.

Coming back here again for sure.

Great little course

First time we played this course we were surprised how well kept the greens were. Today was our second time around at this course and it's still in really great shape even after the 3-4 weeks of drought. This course has really really nice greens. Played almost all my clubs. Course is walkable, but I prefer to take a golf cart. Sure the cost of the cart is more than the green fee if you get the hot rate on golf now. At the end it balances out and worth it because who doesn't have more fun driving around a golf cart? It's a great course to practice your game play. It's also nice to watch the local planes fly in and out while playing. Staff here are super friendly. Coming back to this little gem again and again.

Poor upkeep

Wasn't impressed with the Highland course. Greens here were terrible. Clover patches scattered everywhere. Tons of divots.A lot of areas of burnt grass. Super dry. The course has a lot of hills so a cart is highly recommended. The layout was good. The carts were nice to drive - electric. Drink girl came around fast. There's no washroom breaks at the 9 and there's no out houses so it's very comfortable for a women. Men have no problems. Don't think we would go back here.

The bakery is amazing

This course is great to practice your game. Used almost every club in the bag. The landscape is very beautiful. Flowers everywhere. Driving in between the orchards was delightful. There a couple holes with breathtaking scenery. I would play this course again. I would also go back again to buy their butter tarts, maple pops, beer cheddar bread, strawberry rhubarb pie... I would go back to buy everything in their bakery lol. The only thing missing is alcohol. If they got their LCBO license... I would go here more than other places. Nothing more sweet than having a beer with a few of their delicious butter tarts at the end of your game...
