As with anyone, is it worth the hour+ drive from Dallas north just to play golf? My answer is yes, the bent grass greens, beautiful oak trees and all around fun course (at a great price). Not to mention you can stop along the highway on your return trip to TX...

This is a great place to go out and play if your game is suffering from the scoring blues.... Helps the ego, no sand traps, just stay our of the rough (natural area) and you can score low...

If you have not played Bridlewood recently, then you owe it to yourself to get out early and play the course. Greens were fast but true. Fairways were in great shape and outside of the funky #13 this course is just a blast to play. Open enough to forgive mistakes, but definitely rewards taking risks. One of my favorite courses in the Metro, especially when it is listed on GolfNow.

This course is under 6000 yards, old school fairways and close to each other. Biggest complaint started 30 minutes after tee time. Pace started a little slow but got better.

We played course #2 - the pace was fine, the greens were fair - rolled true, and all around a fun day. There are a couple of holes that you better hit the target landing area or you will have no second shot...

This is part of the trilogy know as Firewheel - The Old Course was a fun track, plenty of challenge without penalizing for straying off the fairway too much. I found it a fun trek, definitely friendly on the ego. Because of the spring showers the course was in really nice shape.. go out and enjoy!

This course always offers a challenge to all levels of play. The wind was gusty yesterday so it made some holes even more difficult than normal. Cart girl kept a good pace and I highly recommend walking over to the Marriott bar after the round.

Definitely will play here again, especially with GolfNow!

In the past, this course has always been a great value even considering the drive. But the last two visits have been brutally slow... Don't know if we will go back.

This course lulls you to sleep for the during the first 4 holes, then lowers to boom. The course gets tighter and more challenging. I always enjoy this course because it does not have any just dumb holes - all are fair with decent shots.

On this afternoon we met and played with a couple for Canada - great time - they were playing some good golf for their season just starting.... maybe we will see them again someday....

The course was in fair shape, however I found the greens were hard to get the ball to hold. Greens were a little slow and rough.

It is always fun to get out of the hustle of the big city to enjoy golf. The course was in fair condition except the greens, which I thought were inconsistent. The fellow players all seem to have a great attitude, which is more than I can say for the pro shop staff.

Yes, we would go back when on Golf Now special...

Be aware - the greens will need at least a week to recover from the work done yesterday..

This course is not on the bucket list but is a good tune up for your game during the early part of the season.... several challenging holes, including a split fairway on number 9.

The greens where not "true" thus putting can be a challenge as the grass is not consistent.

With discounts this is a course worth playing.

This course has plenty of challenge to go with the numerous deer. The front nine seemed a little more playable than the back nine. The biggest issue I have with the course was the distance markers did not match the scorecard and it played longer than the numbers posted. Worth playing at least one time, but not on my return list.

This is a fairly easy Muni, that can be played for a discount if you watch Golf Now.... I would not pay full price unless you just can't get another tee time. Weather was too good not to play yesterday.

Very slow play, Marshall's did not seem to help move things along.
