The Eagles Golf Club - Forest
Played On 02/24/2021Heaven on Earth
The title says it all. Perfect weather and conditions, along with the best back nine known to man. There is nowhere else I'd rather tee it up. Blue skies, deer, alligators, and a good buddy to play a round with. Stick a fork in me, I'm done!
Crescent Oaks Country Club
Played On 05/27/2020Long target course, fun but bring extra balls.
Challenging course for a bogey golfer. Lots of water, forest and swamp. Showed up as a single and had a fun round with three other guys. Accuracy counts a lot more than long drives here, and you must think your way to the green on each hole. Lots of wildlife and scenery to help enjoy the day. Beverage cart showed up right on time throughout the round. Had a good time, and will return in the future.

Checked in and on the course in minutes. Not many people out so I really got to concentrate on my game. No distractions, just hole after hole of pure enjoyment. The greens and fairways were in really good shape, and I didn't baptize too many balls. All in all, a great place to chill out.

I've played the course many times and really enjoy the back nine. You play and wind through one forest setting after another with few houses, and lots of deer. So relaxing, I don't worry too much about my score.

Crescent Oaks Country Club
Played On 01/06/2018fairly long and tight course
I've played this course for many years and it is enjoyable but challenging. There is a fair amount of water and some of the fairways are narrow with woods on both sides. Bring a few water balls because you'll need them. You can over hit a number of holes on your 2nd shot, and if you do, prepare to land in water or the woods, so be accurate with your irons.
Buffalo Creek Golf Course
Played On 01/01/2018a hidden gem.............
I stumbled on this course years ago and have enjoyed it's length and remote location for years. The course for me is really long, even off the white tees and you are surrounded by wide open spaces all day long. If you want to get away from it all, this is the place to go. Fairways and greens are in good shape and the greens fees are an excellent value.
Now, go have some fun!
Thanks for 5 stars and the kind words! Glad you had a good time!
