This is a very nice semi-private course. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and while the range is small and tight quarters, it feels right for the atmosphere. And that atmosphere is cozy, unpretentious, and practical. The course is an enjoyable test and challenge. The greens were in fine shape, and will be better as the weather warms up.

I decided to pass up playing at the usual course when visiting the area to try somewhere different. Read a couple of course reviews written in January that touted the course as being in great shape and a great value. The course was in mediocre to awful shape, with a couple of holes pretty much unplayable from mud. It's probably a much better course in Summer, but this was a total rip off. No course could go from the description in the reviews to what I experienced in that short a time. To say I'm disgusted is understatement. Fool me once...

This is one of the nicer courses I've played on in recent months. If you know even a little about course architecture you'll be impressed in what the architect has done to inform you as to how to play this track. The course is in great condition and the greens are a wonderfully speedy test, and the pin placements can offer so much variety it would be hard to get bored playing this track over and over.

The only negative was a group in front of us that had two guys who couldn't hit the ball more than 150 yards with any club, and they were trying to teach the women with them -- on a holiday afternoon -- how to play. They decided to not let my twosome play through, and twosome behind us joined us for the last two holes to try to keep their rhythm.

An outstanding course, and I'll play it as often as I can get a Hot Deal because the rack rate is a bit steep.
