Foursome in front of us wouldn’t let us go Making for an hour longer round. The ranger saw but would not do anything about it due to the course not being crowded on this day Also unhappy that the silver card we purchased guaranteed a rate for Monday thru Friday They now have made Friday a weekend rate and don’t honor the silver card That’s he bad The good is they have a great group of guys and gal The course is continually being worked on Grass is greening up Paly it you will not be disappointed

I love everything about this course except The unregulated slow play The course and the staff are top notch. But on the previous play we followed a foresome two ladies and two men They stopped to eat after the ninth hole we went around them and were finishing the tenth hole when they came to the tee The ranger chewed on us even tho we never saw them again as a twosome Then the last trip a onesome went around us on two and we waited on him at three Then he joined a single on four and we waited on them. Then on seven a guy and his wife came around and joined the twosome Now you have a twosome following a foresome without any one asking. I’m calling BS here Told the Ranger did he say something to them. Noooo Ilove the course and the people but the rangers need to do their job

I play here a couple times a week Andy never get tired of it. Every hole is different Tee boxes Fairways and Greens are all top notch The owner and the people who work for him treat you well. I’ve seen a tremendous amount of work going on on this course for sometime. This is a 4 and a half hour course with lots of play and big groups at times Be patient Enjoy

Love this course and the people. The work gone into this course over the last little bit has been tremendous This course is a jewel Now for the bad. It doesn’t matter if there’s 20 cars in the lot or a hundred the pace is always painfully slow. No rangers to move the 6 hour guys along. Plan on packing a lunch. Other than that. 5 stars.

Doesn’t get any better. Love this place Wonderful features I play here all the time and never get bored The staff are good people and tell they appreciate you. Constantly working to improve the course Just come play here I guarantee you will come back

For this area it doesn’t get any better. First class course And First class people. Only drawback on this day was the workers creating noise around you on multiple holes. but they have to do it sometime Maybe they could kill the equipment till after your shot. Fairways and Greens are a 10 right now. Go Play

Greens are coming back from being punched. Tee boxes good. Fairways good Letting stuff grow so keep it in play. My personal favorite and I never get tired of playing here Food at the turn is to expensive and I like to patronize them but Course crisscrossing the French Broad River makes for some beautiful sites I will return time after time

Never get tired of playing here Love the golf The Scenery Staff are top notch. Course is being improved daily. Not unusual to see Otters Deers Eagles Foxes Turkey Herons Hawks Gets slow on occasion because of a good crowd and some challenging holes but your out here to relax so do so and enjoy a fantastic day

Course is in good shape for early spring Greens are great. Started on the back because the schools were playing Made the turn and was directed to play the back again That was disappointing Very slow play because of this We sucked it up and enjoyed a killer day

Continues to work on this magnificent course that slipped a little in the past. Improvements being made to bunkers / cart paths. Numerous areas being worked cleaning trees and brush. Every hole is different. No cookie cutter here. Greens in great shape Winter has been wet and you will catch a mush lie here and there but this course drains excellent. Also easy on the eyes. Beautiful scenery and nature abundant Love this place and never get tired of playing it

I read the previous reviews but thought it can’t be that bad It’s worse. Hadn’t played here in awhile and it’s a fun track to play and use to be in good shape There are no greens They are completely gone The fairways are a mixture of numerous grasses that may or may not give you a decent lie. Hit in the rough you’ve lost your ball. Now for the biggie while finishing the third hole A Group of 6 carts jumped in front of us when we asked what was going on they said they had a swat going. Didn’t even acknowledge we were there. Very rude. Anyway don’t waste your time or money here If they let you play free it would not be enjoyable. I can’t see any way short of a major overhaul that would make it playable

Crap shoot here Never know if you will have a 5 hour round or a 3 hour round No rangers on the course. Greens on the Red nine were punched today with the big holes and not enough sand Unsure when they will punch the other 2 nine.s. May want to call Lambert is wide open and in good shape Perfect course for beginners

Played here a couple months ago and thought it was headed the right direct. Wrong! When you hit your ball right down the middle of the first hole and lose it in deep grass that should tell you all you need to know Every hole after was the same Played here many times and have not seen conditions this bad here. Slow play because no one could find their ball Slow Greens. Really wish I had something good to say about the course conditions. No reason not to have the mowers going full blast Save your money

Don’t make a Tee Time It will not matter They don’t care. They allow 5 and 6 somes No one will let you play thru even when the hole ahead is open. No one to regulate the course I’ve played my last round here. Don’t be frustrated go somewhere else.

Be aware they will be punching the Greens on the 8 of June This is a great course just not in great shape. Bunkers have been poor for a long time now Now the Greens have very little grass on them and it’s very hard to make any putt. They have sold the back nine and at some point will begin building on that part of the course. IHATE THIS AS THIS WAS A PREMO COURSE IN THIS AREA I WILL SURE MISS IT I will continue to play till then. Maybe the Greens will come back after they punch them

Played here many times I personally like the people and the course If your looking for pristine conditions don’t go here. The grass has always been thin to none and rocky The bunkers are rock filled The greens are usually the best part of this course but had recently been punched I got a great deal and we still enjoyed the day Will I be back. Certainly Just temper your expectations

Due to several courses having closed around here Lambert has an over flow crowd that on this day was poorly managed If you book a tee time you expect to get out close to the time you book. You also expect to have somewhere to turn to Told to start on the Orange After waiting to tee ranger said go back to the White. After waiting every shot to hit on the first nine We were turned to the Orange where they were starting groups and Turing here from the White and Red. What a grind of close to 6 Hours. I have played here hundreds of times and really like the people here but will be hard pressed to return unless someone takes charge. Can’t have several people saying different things

Can’t say enough good things about this course First the people they are absolutely first class The course is a post card picture Every hole is different It will give you all you want If you hit it long play the tips or if Father Time has shown up play the Senior Box The scenery is spectacular so enjoy this along with the golf It’s one the very best courses in this area and a place I never get tired of playing
