Sand Hills Golf Resort
Played On 06/29/2016Enjoyed our Round
The course is in really good shape considering that it has had very little rain in the past few weeks, Fairways are getting brown (You get lots of roll which is good) but the tee blocks, greens and chipping areas are still pretty lush. Looking forward to our next round there.

Played On 06/24/2016Where's the Marshall?
Pace of play was very slow and we quit after nine holes even though we paid for eighteen. The two some we were supposed to play with were very rude and drove right up to the ladies tees so we couldn't hit off the men's tees. Now we have a foursome and 3 twosomes on one hole. Took over 2-1/2 hours to do nine holes and when we got to #10 there were 3 groups waiting to tee off. We packed it in at that point. Strange that there were 2 people operating the beverage cart but never once did we see the Marshall.

Nice course but some hopelessly slow golfers ahead of us on the back nine spoiled the day for us. We did the front nine in 90 minutes and then a foursome got just ahead of us at the tenth and it took us almost twice that time to do the back. The Marshall told us that this foursome teed off two hours before us! They never offered to let us play through. :-(
Forest Golf and Country Hotel - 18-hole
Played On 06/02/2015Nice Liesure Round
A great course for your novice golfer. A little short with no par 5's but still has some challenge. The 11th hole with the island green tests your mid irons. Some of the greens are tricky.
St. Clair Parkway Golf Course
Played On 08/25/2014Back Nine Closed
Unfortunately our first time playing there was the day they were aerating the greens. The back nine was closed so we played the front nine twice. This made it a little crowded. We let two singles play through, not sure why they didn't pair up. The front nine greens had been aerated a day or two before and covered with sand so putting was difficult. We were however, notified beforehand that the greens would be aerated but elected to go anyway.
