Have played this course multiple times. You will not find a better deal $ to play right now. Great price for the golf. Greens are in really good shape but tee boxes need a little TLC. Starter is very friendly. It is a shorter course (par 60). Definitely worth it. Just do it!

Tee boxes were pretty beat up but the fairways were in decent shape. We had a tee time at 11:50am and were ready to go at 11:45am but there were 2 groups in front of us waiting to tee off. We had a cart and were quick players. The not so bright female starter let a walking older female off in front of us at 12:05. When the golfing female got halfway down the fairway of a short par 4 (295 yards) the starter was yelling at us to tee off and go! I explained that it’s not our fault, we had a tee time at 11:50 that we could not move on and I can drive the green which I may possibly hit the golfer in front of us!

Such a great course! For the price you can’t beat the value. I always play this course a couple of times a week when in town.

I arrived thinking I booked a “big course” (par 72) but came to find it was only a par 60 “small course” so we made the best of it...lots of iron play!
Fairways were pretty absent of grass in many places while the tee boxes were mostly sand. The greens were the saving grace of the course, they were soft and in great shap. You will find water through out the course and I think they were bunkers (kind of wet dirt).
Choose wisely!

Beautiful new Clubhouse with simple park and play features! I pulled in, dropped off my clubs to the staff, paid and away I went. The course had excellent greens and pace of play was as slow or fast as you wanted. Challenging water/bunker holes with dogleg fun.
Highly recommend!

I started by reading prior reviews of this course only to be in shock when I got there. Earlier reviews were just trying to be nice or way too generous but I have to just be blatantly honest here. It sounded like this is under new ownership but they are definitely not there yet.
I played as a single and was put out on the back nine to start. There was a weird odor throughout the course as I played. It seems that they are trying to reseed the tee boxes but still pretty rough. Lots of crabgrass (weeds), need some Kentucky bluegrass or something close to real grass. Absolutely NO water to drink on the course so be prepared. I paid just as much $$$ as The Dunes right around the corner but in phenomenal shape. The only saving grace was the threesome I got paired up with. Not yet there Sanibel Golf Club!

Quick play with challenging holes, plenty of water and sand. The greens were well manicured. No GPS on cart but smooth electric.

This is probably my favorite course! From the moment I pulled into the parking lot and was met by staff at the bag drop I felt like I was treated like a "King!" The cigars had perfect moisture in the humidor at the pro shop. The starter was very pleasant and full of knowledge about the course. I was paired up with another single and we went out as a twosome. We played a full 18 holes at our own pace. The greens were in great shape with challenging pin placements. The cart we travelled in was absolutely clean and quiet (electric) not to mention fully stocked with tees, towels, pencils, score card and divot fill/repair. Plenty of water & ice to drink through out the course. A plethora of ospreys and eagles accompanied us along our game. At the finish the staff cleaned my clubs and even gave me a ride to my car. A+++ service! Would highly recommend and play every time I am in the area.

Stars say it all in the ratings, just look at what the stars tell you. It is pretty basic and to the point.

Played The Dunes twice while on vacation here. Came back the second time due to the great shape the course was in and the value $ you get for excellent greens, staff, and electric carts with GPS monitor. Bring a few extra balls for the water or play conservative! Beautiful course!
