This course needs a lot of maintenance.

This short, tree lined course has some potential. The layout is good, but the conditions are horrible.

Great course for beginners

Langley Golf Center is the easiest golf course I've ever played. There are very few hazards, and the course is very flat.

The biggest problem with this course is the soft and slow greens. Even in the middle of the summer, the golf ball still plugs in the soft, squishy greens. It is difficult to make a putt on these greens because they do not roll true at all.

While the price is relatively low, you don't exactly get a lot of value for your money. However, I would definitely recommend this course for beginners.

Price is good; everything else is average to poor

The only good thing I can say about this course is that the price is reasonable.

The course layout is just okay, with some of the holes being really poor. It's not particularly well maintained either, especially some of the bunkers. There is too much sand in some of the bunkers, and they are not raked.

The reason the bunkers aren't raked is because this course attracts a lot of hackers who don't understand golf etiquette. The staff at Guildford G&CC could do a better job educating their customers about proper etiquette.

My biggest complaint about this course is the 7 or 8 minute separation of tee times, which is just not enough time between groups. This leads to a log jam on every single hole and 5+ hour rounds of golf. I'd prefer to spend a few dollars extra per round and have tee times 10 or more minutes apart.
