Slowest greens around this area.
I know it is a muni but the county course and others have the same grass(bermuda) and are running at 9-12. Palm Harbor is lucky if they are running 7. No excuse sandy & shaggy, The fairways and bunkers were all pretty good. Just cut & roll the greens once in a while.

LPGA Arthur Hills course is a top notch design with good playing conditions and interesting holes. The sand traps were inconsistent with wet hard sand at the bottom and soft around the perimeter. Other than that conditions were 4/5 ☆. This course used to be in the forest of Volusia county with great views and wildlife. They are in the process of building at least 3 new hundred home neighborhoods along many of the holes. The construction does not impede play but noise and dust take away from the ambiance of the round. The clubhouse and bar grill room are excellent and the practice facility is second to none.

Amelia River is a fantastic barrier island golf course interesting layout that is fun to play. Course conditions where very good, for rack rate of $150 they are not up to that level of 5☆. Each hole is different and interesting. Greens ran consistent but had aeration lines that where distracting. Staff was friendly and grille looked adequate except it closed @ 4:30, so it was closed when we finished our round. I recommend playing this course .

On my way to Spring break. What an excellent course near the Florida/Georgia border. Private club that really treats their guests with Southern hospitality. It did rain on us on about 4 holes but the course and bunkers drained well. Very scenic, half dozen holes right on the marsh. Would recommend to anyone who gets the chance to tee it up here as the routing is interesting and the course conditions are top notch.

Have been playing VB since it was Blackwood CC way back. Ron Jaworski Golf has upgraded all of their golf facilities and Valleybrook is no exception. The course was always his first and most public of all of the layouts with moderate challenges and fair condition. Conditions have improved dramatically and even the rough only has minimal crabgrass. Tee boxes are a bit thin, bunkers inconsistant, but greens and fairways were perfect. All things going in a positive direction , of course the price to play has also increased.

New Jersey shore golf courses are notorious for excessive price gouging during high season without providing course condition and services that dictate the high cost. I am happy to say that after my previous visit to Shore gate Golf club they have made excellent changes. This layout is excellent with a variety of different types of challenging holes and sand and water hazards. Greens had been aerated on 9/7 and were consisstent and not bumpy. Fairways and greens and bunkers(hundreds) were all in good condition. At least, if they are charging top $ , they are maintaining the course in top condition. Also, If you want to pretend to be a pro try Hole#9 from the back tees 649 par 5 absolutely a fantastic golf hole anywhere in US!

Enjoyed my preview round at Applecross. Nicklaus design courses generally give me trouble due to the very undulating greens. Applecross was no different. Speed of the greens was a little slow but immaculate condition. Most of the course is easy to navigate and to keep your ball in play but as mentioned you have to put your ball on the right green quadrant to avoid 3 putts. Clubhouse has an excellent bar on the top level and the club has an unbelievable pool & fitness center which we did not have an opportunity to use. If the course was anywhere close to my home I would consider membership. Enjoyed my visit!

Family run,with a fun layout kept in very good condition. All of the staff are pleasant and the greens were slow from rain night before, but in excellent condition. Fairways good, tee boxes bad. Overall an excellent course value and the people that run it seem to appreciate your business.

Hopewell Valley is a former private club in the hills of NJ. Mercer County golf has taken over this course and they are doing things right. The course may not have top class private course conditioning but with the amount of play they are close to it. The pro shop , starter, and clubhouse employees were all helpfull and pleasant. I hope to play another round here on this beautiful course.

Perhaps the extreme hot weather was keeping the crowds down but an extra enjoyable experience playing CBGC. Course conditions were on par with a private course all tee boxes ,fairways, greens and traps were excellent. Layout is fair and challenge is there right in front of you. We played 18 in under 4hrs on a Friday afternoon. Cannot say enough about the accommodating staff all around. I assume that on another weekend the pace of play would not be so private like but will return for an encore as this course is deserving of your greens fees.

RM is a great layout no 2 holes are the same very interesting test of golf with some very scorable holes for mid hcp player. Conditions were good as usual , greens were soft from recent rain and just a tad slower but in great shape, fairways & tee boxes good. Overall, a good gold experience on an overcast humid day kept the crowds down and pace of play was 3 hrs 45min.

This course is challenging the rough around the greens is sparse but overall great greens and fairways highly reccomend for the price

Always enjoy the course at Vineyard National it is a great layout and greens had been aerated and sanded so a little bumpy and slow. LAck of rain has already done a number on the fairways and they need some tlc. For April the lack of grass on fairways is not acceptable.
All other things were fine, service was good as was pace of play. Will return if the grass isn't all gone by summer.

Conditions good green speed good but alot of unrepaired ball marks.
Pace of play excellent, about 4 or 5 groups total on the course.
Fairways and tees good bunkers weren't raked anywhere but had good sand
Good layout, every hole is different, some easy,a few hard,. A fun challenge.

Ever since this course was puchased by the ownership that also owns Golden Pheasant and The Links they have made this challenging golf track into a very good public golf facility with nice course conditions. Tee boxes were a little banged up, fairways were good as well as bunkers. Greens were in great shape and consistent if a bit slow ,letting them grow due to the heat. Wish golfers would fix their ball marks to keep the greens in top condition. Other then when they have outings and set up tents there is a lack of off course amenities, but they have done a RTJ track solid and Rancocas is a challenging track.

I say facility because they have it all for golf. 27 holes all in great condition. A 18 hole academy course and 6 acre practice and learning center. Clubhouse with bar restaurant and wedding venue. This is truly a nice place to play and visit. I wish I lived closer, would play this course on a regular basis, Beautiful location in the hills of Somerset county with beautiful scenery from the tee boxes and the clubhouse. I recommend you visit and play this course if you get the opportunity.

Pretty darn close to 5 star all round rating. Greens in excellent condition super fast with alot of undulation. Interesting layout with different holes and challenging water hazards to navigate. A couple of weak throw in par 3 holes but overall enjoyable challenge and round.

Stoney Creek at Wintergreen is in the Rockfish Valley in Virginia. Being in the valley there are less elevation changes than the other resort course Devils Knob. But the views throughout the course are incredible. Course conditions were very good , greens had been aerated about 2 weeks prior so a little slow but consistent.
Service in the clubhouse and course attendants was excellent. With 2 breweries and cider and wineries close by this is the place to play if you like mountain golf.

I am a semi regular player here at Scotland Run and must say that the course conditions were not up to par for this course and especially not for the price that they are charging for greens fees. Greens have recovered from aeration but were very slow and had dozens of unfixed ball marks, fairways were half diseased and muddy ,rough either uncut or uneven. Overall, very poor for the usual at this course. I understand inflation and lack of grounds crew help but gouging members and their guests for over $100 for a muni like course condition. Very disappointing!
