Course was great but found the drinks very expensive at $12 / glass of wine and for a small margarita, beer was priced right at $4.75

Thought we would try this course once again after playing it for the first time last year! Course in great shape except for the pot hole filled cart paths , parking lot and roller coaster driveway getting to the clubhouse! Also 90% of the tee box makers were not in place for any colour!

A very challenging course, that will test even the most seasoned golfer... with numerous par 3s on the front ,changes to mostly par 4s on the back, with lots of water challenges throughout! Supper in the Boulevards restaurant was very good afterward as well!

We returned to this course after a few years to find a large majority of the grass around the fairways dead! Fairways were cut so short they were burnt as well! The greens were in good shape! Check-in staff had trouble finding my T-time and the starters told us follow cart 30 instead of calling us by name! Cart 30 never showed! We drove to the tee box to find it empty! Went in for drinks after the round and waited to be served for 10 minutes or so, was never served and left!
With changes I’ve seen on this day ! I suspect the future for this course surviving is slim...

Second time this season I had the opportunity to play this course! Allot of dead grass in the rough on most holes! While passing another clubhouse at hole 9/10 (not the one you start at) I passed some beautiful waterfalls but the sewer smell was not so great while going by! Water needs treatment! Other than that the course helped me do some Handicap Maintenance!

Nothing more to say than had a good time for the 3 or 4 rounds I played at this course this winter season! A cold wind and some rain blew in and out quickly!
Must return home to the snowy north only to wait for our courses to open 2 months from now!

Another round played this winter season but the course is holding on! Still some dead spots next to the fairways ... Rough could be cut shorter but fairways could be slightly longer as a divot is taken with most shots! Greens medium for speed but in good shape!

We have found now that women playing from the reds on hole 18 is too challenging so they skip the hole or move to the forward tees to avoid the water hazard which is mostly impossible for an average female golfer to get over!

Very well maintained course within the Sun City Palm Desert Community, too bad the second course couldn't match it! Enjoyed the day and the golf until the winds came up but with the course layout the winds were not so bad ...Jury's still out on the restaurant of Papa Dan's... Had a great lunch a week ago but the dinner we had after the round was not that good! Plenty of staff wandering around the empty restaurant seemed to forget we were there at times!
At least go for the golf!

Course was OK with some dead grass in the rough! Greens were very fast! Starters were confused at startup not knowing who was next and seemed disorganized! Free water at the end of nine, needed in 85F weather! But water should be at the building next to the driving range so carts aren't going away from the next nine hole course we are to play! That will also reduce traffic in front of the clubhouse!

of play was excellent , finished in just over 4 hours... Started with temperatures in the mid 80's but a cloud layer made it much more enjoyable dropping the temp by a few degrees! Course condition is slowly improving since my last review!

Enjoyed the afternoon and restaurant in the evening!
Some of the rough areas were dead but fairways in good shape and greens were lightning fast! All in all a good course!

I now rank this course as one of the top three worse courses I have played in the world!
We had a 35 minute delay to our T-Time due to a shortage of golf carts and after we got to the first tee the starter let a group playing match play ahead of us delaying everyone further! The fairways were green in spots but the fringe and rough were dead desert! Half the greens were not bad but the rest were pot marked with ball marks! Pace of Play was so bad we lost two groups in front of us (as they just quite) and we were still caught up to the group in front! When we arrived at the 14th hole we had 4 groups in front of us on the Par 4...

Never Again!

Started with barely getting out of the car in the driveway when the attendant had a cart behind us and was loading our clubs! He also took my wife , but I found her later! The complete experience was great, from the attendants to the course condition and the buffet meal afterwords! We had some pace of play issues from 11 thru 18 where there 3 or 4 groups waiting at the tee boxes but the round was completed in 4 hours!

Enjoyed course over all, greens in excellent condition , fairways in fair condition, rough still has some dead an dry spots where grass should be...
On course players assistance non existent as our round took 5 hours when they recommended 4 1/4 hrs. Part way through the round a twosome joined on the course behind us played four or five holes causing more backup for the people behind! They left after shortly after due to the slow pace!
The old "I'm a member, I can do what I want, when I want" came in to play once again!

The course was wet everywhere not just the water hazards. Some fairways had not been cut since last fall. Probably didn't want to loose their equipment in the muddy fairways!

Lounge not open past 4:30 pm so we were not able to visit!
