Me and two friends of mine played Silver Dollar 9/24/23. The course is in abd shape. Fairways need more water the green are hit or miss. Some are fine and some were just really bad. SIlver Dollar is a discount course so I never expect alot when I play there but it has gotten worse when it should be getting better. I would recomend spending a 10-15 dollars more and playing anohter course. Just doesnt make for a fun golf day.

Rocky Point is getting a lot of play and the fairways show that. The greens seemed to be in decent shape and played well. Its a good course and typically the pricing is reasonable. Its getting close to 60.00 a round now and I would say that would be top dollar for Rocky Point.

My wife and I played golf at Plantation Palms this Monday 2/20/23. Course was in good shape and pace of play was decent considering how busy it was that day. Carts are newer gas carts and have GPS which is helpful. I thought it was a little pricey but all golf in FL in the winter is pricey. Well worth the money and they are doing a good job over there at Plantation Palms!

I played this Sunday May 8th with my wife. Pine Barrens was in good shape. I have seen it in better condition but fairways and greens were perfectly fine. If you haven't played World Woods yet, your missing out! Rolling Hills and elevation changes that most FL courses don't have. The course just changed hands the end of 2021 and the new group has updates to do that I am told will take over 12 months or more. Course will be closing very shortly so make your way out there soon!!

My wife, brother and a friend of mine played this course Saturday the 26th and the course was in real good shape. This course is short only 4K from the blue tees but it can be challenging and is a lot of fun. The pace of play here is usually very good even when the course if crowed. My wife and I can get a round in here is 2 hours and 15 minutes most days.

Played with some friends this past Saturday morning 8 a.m. We have had some cold weather and even though the grass in the rough in dormant the fairways and green were is very good shape. The greenskeeper there is doing a good job. Bunker were raked and shaped recently as well. All in a nice course and usually very reasonable.

Course was in good shape for the winter. Greens were in real good shape and fairways were fairly plush considering its January. There were two foursomes in front of our group but everyone moved right along. It's a nice course and the rates are very reasonable. I would recommend Roger's Park, it's always a good time.

The course was in ok shape but I have seen it in a lot better condition. My biggest gripe at this time would be the greens. The greens were really bad. Burnt out and bumpy is probably putting it nicely. I have played Babe Zaharias many times but I don't remember the greens being all chewed up like that. All in all your not paying a lot and it a nice little course for the money.

In my opinion both of the full sized courses at Mission Inn are very good. Greens were a little sandy but that happens from time to time. Fairway were excellent as were the tee boxes. If your anywhere near Howie in the Hills its must stop. You wont be disappointed!

Played this past Sunday 3/14 with three close buddies of mine. Pace was a little slow but the course was in good shape. Fairways have improved and 16 of the 18 greens were just about perfect. For the money this course is always worth playing.

My wife and friends of ours were just out there Saturday October 3rd. Fairways could still use some work but the greens were in good shape bunkers were raked and everything else was in decent shape. The staff there is great and the carts are newer. If your golf course doesn't need to be perfectly manicured then Silver Dollar is reasonably priced and more than playable.

Quail Hollow is closing April 29th 2018. It will be sad to see it torn down in order to build homes but that is exactly what is taking place. It was a nice course always at a great price! If your in the Tampa area the next 8 days, try to stop in and play.

Staff was very friendly, course was in great shape and the weather was perfect. My friends and I have been playing this course once a year for the past 5 or 6 years. I would highly recommend this course. Not terribly long but challenging enough to make it lots of fun.

My wife and I and two of our close friends played this course Sunday the 27th 2016. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They explained all the tricky holes and where you should try to place the ball. The course is in fantastic shape and although some of the holes are a little tight none were ridiculous. The course has plenty of tees so you can hit 6500 down to 5300 for men and something like 4,500 for women. Very nice nice course and priced very well. Golf can get fairly pricey in St Augustine. I would definitely recommend this course, it wont disappoint.

Kudos to the groundskeeper at this course! I have only played here twice about 2 months apart but both times my wife and I played the course in has been in excellent shape from tees to green. This is not always and easy task in the middle of summer in Florida. The pro shop guys are always great and if you check the prices they run some really good specials. I would highly recommend this course, you wont be disappointed. Watch out for water crossing the fairways.

My wife and I played Temple Terrace Country Club yesterday morning. 8:20 a.m. tee time. Pro shop guys were great and quick to get us out. The staff all around was great, we ate lunch in the restaurant there and the food was very good. This course is semi private but sometimes allows Member for a Day on Golf Now. We took advantage of $35.00 green/cart fees per person and were glad we did. The course is in tremendous shape! We haven't had much rain at all in May this year and most other courses we have played in the Tampa Bay area have been dried out and burnt out in some cases. 16 of the 18 fairways were pristine and even the other two were still in good shape. The greens were almost perfect, my hats off the greens keeper at this course. He/She is doing a fantastic job of things. We plan on going back and would highly recommend this course to anyone playing in the Tampa area.

The course is in good shape, greens were in real good shape and pace was fast. If you have never played this course you should. It has 4 or five holes on the back 9 that were designed inside and old lime rock mine so the elevation changes are extremely dramatic for a Florida course. You have to see it to appreciate it! I would recommend this course, especially if you have never been there before. It wont dissapoint.

My wife and I play this course quite a bit and its hard to beat it for the money. The staff at Meadow Oaks is always fast and friendly and the food is pretty good as well. The course is in real good shape considering it gets its fair share of play. The pace of play has been a little slow the last two or three times we have been there but it doesn't take away the fact that this is a good course for all levels of golfers. The gold tees gets you 6,000 plus yards and the women's tees are at roughly 4,600. Water in play on some holes but all in a really fun course and I would highly recommend.

My wife and friends of ours played this course 8/22/15. In fairness to Tarpon Woods we have had more rain and flooding in the Tampa Bay area than we have had in years. So keeping the course groomed had to be a challenge. The back 9 was just opened the day we played because of the water. If the rain holds off for a week of so the grass and overall playability will increase substantialy. I would rate this course better than average any other day but its too soon to go back. Give it a couple weeks and I am sure it will be in better shape for play.
