This is was my first time at Brambleton and I will be going back! Course amenities were nice including cold water to refill my bottle on a hot day. The staff was very accommodating. The course itself was in excellent condition especially after some recent heavy rain in the area. The roughs were thick so try to stay out of them!
A couple of challenging holes to keep you honest as well. The local wildlife was also welcoming, but they kept their distance. Can't wait to get back!

This course is coming along very nicely. You can tell they are putting money into the course. Can't wait to see what this will look like later this season. Other courses in the area charge so much more and you're really not getting what you paid for. Greens were average and the tee boxes are gradually coming in. Not a difficult course, but always fun to come out here. Other golfers are considerate as well. Will come back soon.

Great day for golf. Challenging course, electric cart and staff was very friendly. Fairways were in very good condition and a couple of days of good rain will make this course a bargain. Will play again soon.

Club staff was very friendly and welcoming. I misread my tee time an hourly, but they let me get on since it wasn't too busy. Got behind some beginners that didn't know course etiquette which slowed pace of play. Tee boxes could use work but still early in the season. Will come out again during summer.

It was my first time out this season. Great weather and good company. Play was slow due to groups ahead of us. Greens and tee boxes could use some TLC. The staff was friendly as always. Can't beat the rate! I will always find a way to get to BGCC South and North courses once or twice of year.

This was my first time playing here. The staff was excellent and welcoming. The course itself was very challenging, especially if you can't control your driver-Trees and houses on almost every hole can be intimidating. Some of the greens could use some work. It looked like some very small critters did some burrowing. The pace was excellent for a Sunday. My group of three got our round in in just under four hours. I would return for the challenge.

It's been a few years since I last played at Shenandoah GC and my experience was positive just like the last time. The staff was welcoming and courteous. I came as a single and joined a threesome. One of the guys was a member and was very helpful with course navigation. The area got some good rain over the weekend and the conditions were excellent. The tee boxes and fairways are well kept and the greens were pristine. The view of the surrounding mountains calmed me after a couple of bad shots. I will be back again. Hopefully the white course will be ready to play on by then.

A good challenging course. Some holes will bait you to drive for the green if you're a big hitter-patience is key. It also gave me an opportunity to play in wet weather. I was late to my tee time, but the staff was understanding and got my round in without any problems. I'll hit this course again in dry weather. Can't beat the price compared to other courses in northern VA as long as you're willing to make the drive.

I was on vacation and decided to take advantage of a good bargain and give this course a try. It wouldn't say it's a top notch course, but it was a good bargain. The course required patience and precision. If you want to be aggressive and drive it on the green on a couple of holes, there's a good chance you end up in the drink. I've never hit so many branches in my life, but that's what happens when you stray from the fairways. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and will give this course another try in the future.

This was my first time playing at McCullough's. Challenging elevations and a couple of blind holes. If you play conservatively you can shoot a good score., but if too aggressive you'll need a lot of balls. Greens were in very good condition after a tropical storm dumped some rain in the area a couple of days earlier. Staff and crew was friendly and welcoming. Pace of play was very good until we were halfway done with the second half of the back nine. I didn't let this ruin my day because the weather was very nice. Also, this allowed my group to enjoy refreshments from the beverage cart as we heading in.

This was only my second time at Blue Ridge Shadows. Staff was pleasant and check in was a breeze. Tee time was just past noon on a hot and humid day. The fairways and tee boxes were nicely kept-Their crew was working around the tee boxes today, but never hindered or slow my play. Very nice course and I will come back!
