The Idaho Club
Played On 06/24/2017Amazing, must play
Hands-down one of the best, and most difficult, courses I've played (and I've played many). Half of the course is hilly, tight, and tree-lined, while the other half is flat and plays through wetlands (plenty of water hazards). This is target golf at its best, plenty of forced carries, plan on losing 3 times as many balls as normal. Tees, fairways, and greens all were in excellent condition. Some great deals can be found online, or weekday twilight is good rate. The clubhouse burned down sometime ago, so they operate the golf shop out of a regular house next door. No restaurant, but they do have beverages at least. If you're a glutton for punishment, this course is for you!
Priest Lake Golf Club
Played On 06/24/2017Great Value!!!
Great deals can be had online for this course. The front 9 is a decent layout, but the back nine is excellent. Front nine is generally pretty open, a bit back and forth, while the back nine is tight and cut through the forest/wetlands. The greens were in very good shape. Some of the tees were a bit sloped, but not too bad. Fairways were a bit bumpy at times, but nice and green. The lake nearby is beautiful and makes for a great post-round beverage spot. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Overall amazing value for the money if booking online.
