Bunker Hill Golf Club
Played On 07/20/2017Hidden gem in GTA
Great track with 12 unique par 3 holes ranging from 100-258 yards from the blue tees. Decided to try this course as a warm up before my regular 18 hole round and was I impressed and surprised with the conditions and difficulty to play 12 holes. It would be a tough walk, luckily had a cart and really enjoyed this track and look forward to coming back again. Staff were very courteous and their lack of clubhouse did not diminish the experience at all.
Ballantrae Golf Club
Played On 05/25/2017Rained but still playable and enjoyed
Even though the rain was not going to stop, decided to play a quick round at Ballantrae GC and enjoyed having the course to myself. Light drizzle throughout the 2 hours it took to finish. Originally booked for 2:44pm, but ended up getting out at 1:30pm. Love this course, play a quite a bit throughout the season. Staff are great and friendly. Conditions were also great for May. Go play!

Amazingly beautiful morning even with rain forecasted all day, staff was very accommodating especially since I booked the tee time less than 30 minutes prior and played so fast that I paid the cart fee for another 18 holes. Great day!
Oak Bay Golf Course
Played On 9/11/2013For a short drive up from Toronto, this course is in great shape and have very challenging holes especially the par 3's
Great course in amazing shape with very friendly staff. If you get a chance to play it before it becomes more busier and after the clubhouse opens, highly recommended and its not far from Toronto too. Really scenic holes and very challenging par 3's.
Bradford Highlands Golf Club
Played On 4/16/2013best bang for your dollars. nice walkable and friendly.
Wanted to play a quick warmup round with wife and decided to play the Highlands, formerly bradford highlands. Haven't played here in over 5 years, last round being really slow back then, but finished under 3 1/2 hours walking. Challenging holes with many uphill shots into small protected greens. Decent bunkers, slow but decent conditioned putting surfaces. Would return again. Only $35 spring rates with tax. Very nice for early season conditions.
Bridgewater Country Club
Played On 4/7/2013Best kept secret in Niagara region
Well worth the drive from Toronto to play this classic Stanley Thompson course. Amazing greens and manicured fairways and it's only April! Played under 3 hours as twosome riding and plan to make a regular trip back at least once a month. Highly recommended if you're looking for straightforward course with tree lined fairways, great green complexes that roll true and challenging holes, not the longest but makes use of every club in the bag.
