I have played the North course before and i was surprised at how the course was in such rough shape. The fairways were okay but the Greens were in terrible shape. I am not sure if this is because of the weather or neglect. For sure the greens had not been looked after in quite some time.

Greens are fantastic. Very difficult from the Blue tees and you must be very accurate on the par 4's and 5's off the tee. However, once in play, the holes are reasonable. For the short hitter the white tee blocks offer a very challenging but forgiving 18 holes. One of my local favorites and extremely good pricing.

was disappointed for a Scottsdale course. It plays like a municipal course. we were the only ones playing and i now understand why

The course was in great shape, moved along at a good pace (no waiting) and we were treated like royalty by all staff that we encountered. Nicest clubhouse i have seen in a while

The course was in great shape however we encountered a 10 - 15 minute wait on every hole. Only once did a marshall come around. He said there were no slow players which means the course is not managed very well. Too many groups on the course at one time. 5 plus hour round we did not have a chance to finish. Will not return to this Troon course. Poor Management for such a highly rated, more expensive course.
