About

Have a love for the game and still enjoying it at 77 years of age. Now shooting in the 80's but hope to get to my age. Better chipping would help!

New Greens are Great

What an improvement, with 20 new greens, 18 plus a large putting green plus a chipping green, with a practice bunker.
They built a new set of tee boxes well forward of the current tees which makes it a lot more fun for a short hitter.
They also rebuilt most of the current tee boxes.
Also a fleet of electric carts were purchased,
Added course rangers and a beverage cart.

Very scenic and excellent facilities

The course is well designed with a variety of tees. Very hilly as it sets far above Otisco lake. Greens and fairways are fine and rough was very playable.

Some holes are cut through the woods but wide enough so they are playable. Carts are nearly new and easily handle the hilly fairways.

My wife and i will be going back. Soon!

Fun in the country

This is a very picturesque course set in the foothills of the Adirondacks. Most fairways are tree-lined but leave ample room for your drive, Several sets of tees so it suits most everyone. Ladies tees are a little long though.

We were a two-some and played in a little over 3 hours.

The greens were pristine.

Definitely going back even though it is an hour ride for us.

Great greens and interesting layout

There had been plenty of rain for several days before we played so the course was still wet. I have to go back and play it when it dries out.

In spite of the wetness, the greens were perfect and quick. I would give it a 5 star if the fairways were dry. The layout is interesting and fair. Several water hazards and few fairway bunkers.

This is the best buy available in the central NY area. Don't bother with the West course - no comparison.

A word of warning, they do not have reserved tee times so if you book online don't get a late tee time on Mon.-Thurs. since they have league play.

Get your tee time and go any time. First come first serve. Call ahead to see if they have an outing etc.

Top Notch Course Fairways and Greens are pure.

This is an exciting course with many challenging holes. I have played in Florida for years and this course has many features of typical Florida golf.

The greens are in perfect shape but there can be some very difficult pin placements.

There are some good deals so don't pass them up!

Very good course But overpriced

The course is one of the best in the area but not good enough to justify $85 plus $20 for half a cart.

it is a short course by modern standards. Low handicap amateurs will find that they can't use driver on many holes. High handicappers will find it too difficult.

The greens are usually quick and very difficult to putt. Note that most putts fall towards the several creeks that flow through the middle of the course.

It is subject to flooding and many fairways don't drain too well.

There is a practice area near the course and you must pay for balls.
