For the price, quality of course (some dead or dry spots in the fairways, summer in AZ) and pace of play this is one of the best values in AZ.
Bear Creek Golf Complex - Bear Course

I have played Bear Creek a lot and I was surprised how bad the greens were. Tee boxes and fairways were okay but the greens were horrible.
Ocotillo Golf Club - White/Gold

Could not believe a troon managed course was in this bad of shape. I realize they are getting close to overseeding but it was really bad.
Apache Stronghold Golf Course

Apache Stronghold has made huge improvements to the course conditions from the last time I played, which was more than a year ago. Fairways could use a little more grass but if you don't mind tight lies I think you would enjoy this course. Greens were excellent and the overall layout of the course is both challenging and fair.
Thank you. We are not where we want to be but we have a Master Plan and a commitment to improve. Hopefully, each time you visit we will be better.
Kokopelli Golf Course

Fairways and greens were okay but the rough or lack there of (baked out hard pan) was ugly and disappointing for the price. I won't play there again until summer when the conditions match the price.
Arizona Biltmore Golf Club - Estates Course

Was expecting more as this was my first time playing. Course was in pretty good shape but the greens were very bumpy and slow, which I'm sure was due to overseeding. Overall the course was just to blah. Felt like an executive course or a course you would find in a retirement community. The price was great for this time of year but I highly doubt I will play it again.
