Loch March Golf and Country Club
Played On 10/01/2020Not worth the money at all
The level of staff friendliness has gone downhill so much since I’ve started playing here last year.
The starter was exceptionally rude, yelling at me on the practice green to come up to the tee box and get ready (I still had 15 minutes before my tee time and the tee was 50 feet away) then started lecturing me about how I should be on time. Ive golfed over at over 50 different courses and have never had a starter talk to me like that. I was a little taken back obviously but he made me and my parter tee off about 10 minutes early so he can let another group hit immediately right after us!
The Marshall was also very rude saying we had to pick up the pace even when we finished the round in under 3:40hr. We told him about the starter situation and we had to end up waiting on 6 different holed for groups in front of us and he just shrugged it off not even acknowledging our situation and left.
As far as the course goes, it’s a decent track but the greens are trash.
Don’t waste your money here, they don’t know the first thing about customer service. I won’t be coming back here again.
Dragon's Fire Golf Club
Played On 08/29/2020Gone downhill since last season
Played my fourth round here yesterday. The course conditions have definitely gone down hill since I first played here last year. Fairways were ok, with quite a few dead areas. The tee blocks and greens were below average. Numerous old divot marks and dry areas on a lot of the greens.
Pace of play was ridiculously slow. Played in a foursome with power carts and it took us 5:15hr to finish a round. At one point we had 3 other groups in front of us on the same hole we were about to tee off of.
One positive is the course layout. Being a mid handicap it offers lots of challenges and hazards to keep you thinking about your next shot. The staff here are pretty friendly too.
For the money you spend here, it’s not worth it. You can play much nicer courses for the same price.
Granite Ridge Golf Club - Cobalt
Played On 07/03/2020Average course
Played here on both the Ruby and Colbalt course. Pace of play is generally slow here due to the types of golfers coming out since quarantine. Finished both rounds in 4:15hrs and 5:15hrs.
Course conditions were average, the layout isn’t the greatest since fairways are parallel with each other and balls end up on other fairways quite often. Greens were in ok condition both times.
The $70 isn’t worth it unless you can get a hot-deal or a twilight round in.

Played On 10/23/2019Overall good, friendly staff, narrow fairways, below average greens.
I’ve played cedar hill 3 times now and I’m pretty happy with it. The course feels shorter than others I’ve played, I think I used my driver 3 or 4 times total.
The course layout is nice, doglegs, narrow fairways and nicely placed bunkers make it challenging.
Not a fan of the green layouts, you’ll always either putt up hill or downhill.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your feedback. We will look into your concerns regarding the pace of play. We hope you'll give us another shot soon.
