Mystery Valley Golf Club
Played On 08/01/2023Great Except for Greens
I enjoyed my round. Only negative…but it’s a big one is that ALL regulation greens are closed for rejuvenating. In the meantime, temporary greens are in use for every hole, Once standard greens are reopened will be a great course

Played On 07/29/2021Tough Track. But Good
I was nicely surprised by this course, based upon what other reviewers said. For the most part, it is in very good shape for a public course. That said, I don’t think its condition is what I’ve seen at private golf & country clubs—of course, they are not open to the public.
Many bunkers did have crabgrass or were in poor shape. And a few greens had a few patches. Only negative I can make about the course. But then again, most of the greens were in beautiful condition.
The fairways and rough areas were in very good shape.
What I didn’t like was the course design. Many holes have a “gorge” that cuts across fairway (I think they put strong golfball magnets in them :-) lThese are hazards from which your call cannot be retrieved. I’ve seen hazards like that on other courses, for sure. Just not almost every hole.
Still in all, I’d play again…once it cools off.
When I got into my car, car thermometer said 98 degrees.
Too hot for me.
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass on your feedback to the team. Thanks for visiting Smoke Rise Country Club, and we hope to see you again in the future.
Stonemont at Stone Mountain Golf Course
Played On 03/03/2021Not What I’m Used to at Stone Mtn
I usually so enjoy playing a round here, lighting a cigar, and drinking a cold beer. Not March 3.
1. Soggy conditions put a damper on enjoyment...plus sanded greens that weren’t predictable
2. Cigar was good
3. No beer. Cart girl wasn’t going around. I drove cart to clubhouse to buy beer after the front nine.
Nope. Locked tight
Disappointing round

Played On 04/30/2020Fun Course to Walk, Much Less $$$ Direct
We really enjoyed walking this course today. Our only regret was not booking directly. Golfnow almost always charges a discount rate. But not for this course. We could have paid just $7 (senior rate for 9) had we booked direct. Cost $16+ instead. For 9 holes, walking
Lakemont at Stone Mountain Golf Course
Played On 11/17/2019Beautiful Course but Tough
Both of Stone Mountain’s courses have narrow fairways… Which means a ball off to the side Is under trees in the leaves. For the most part, the courses keep the areas under the trees pretty clean...So you can find your ball and hit out. Lakemont is always enjoyable. I think nine of its holes are on the water which makes it very pretty. Highly recommend this course. Give it a try!
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and we appreciate your feedback. We look forward to unveiling our new Bermuda Greens at the Grand Reopening on Saturday, September 2nd! We hope to see you there!
