River Run Golf Course
Played On 07/23/2021Average at best
I expected more out of this course for the money.
With some work this course could be really nice.
The pro shop is closed. Players can purchase items if they know exactly what it is they want. Just tell the man behind the glass. There is a restaurant at the club house and another nice snack shack at the turn. The cart girl also makes many rounds.
The tee boxes are beat up however, the fairways are mostly in good shape and the greens are slow but well kept.
I found the layout to be mostly target golf with only one or two holes requiring well though out shots. The scenery is less than spectacular with only a couple of holes offering views of the water.
If you can get a "HOT DEAL" this course is a good choice.
Baywood Greens
Played On 07/20/2021Well worth the money!
This course is number one on my must play in Delaware and now one of my all-time favorites!
Although they carry a full tee sheet the starter and staff are highly organized and get you out within 10 minutes of your tee time all while being extremely polite and accommodating..
I was a single and they slid me in an hour early. The staging area is far from the first tee and the journey is one to be experienced as it takes you through a beautiful wood line and then opens up to reveal the first tee box.
The course is in excellent shape! The front nine is very easy to score on however, the back nine can be slightly challenging especially if you are wearing down.
If you're worried about the cost spend the extra money it is well worth it as the experience is excellent. It will be difficult to play any other course when I visit the shore as Baywood Greens sets the bar very high!
Thanks again for a great golf outing!

I was a single and they paired me with a member and got us out 10 min early. I was striking the ball very well which helped me to enjoy this course to the fullest - it is a ball placement course not a distance course. hazards are placed on numerous fairways however, if you hit where you aim you should be able to manage the course and score. Everything is GREAT shape. greens are challenging so you better know how to putt.
Twin Lakes - Oaks Course
Played On 07/30/2014Great Afternoon of Golf.
I only golf this course when I can get a good deal on the greens fees - under $40. For a public course it is great shape, green are a little worn from divot repairs and the tee boxes are littered with tees and divots. Fairways and bunkers are great. The hazards are well placed and easily overcome with a good shot.
We were allowed to tee off 20 min early which was great as the rush started right as we got there.
Brambleton Regional Park Golf Course
Played On 1/18/2012GREAT PUBLIC COURSE
This is a great public course. The fairways are wide and forgiving and the greens are for the most part flat. There are few carries but none that cannot be managed by a novice. The grass in the rough was a little long and it was easy to loose sight of your ball but with focus it could be managed.
