The course is looking good, Bayou tends to hold water longer than area courses, but everything had dried out. Pace of play is an issue. I was a single in a cart and couldn’t get through a two-some. At least two open holes ahead of them all day and they were hitting extra shots while people were waiting on them.

Nice course, always in good condition, staff very friendly. However, pace of play is a problem. It’s worth your time to try this course, just don’t expect to finish under 4 plus hours.

It was a beautiful day and the course is in good condition. This course doesn’t drain as well as some, but there were only a few wet spots restricting us to cart path only. Pace of play is the only concern.

The course is looking great. The pace of play was much slower than should have been, almost five hours for a late morning on a Thursday. But it was a beautiful day so it was tolerable.

The historically good greens had poa annua, not every green, and it wasn’t overwhelming, but it was common. The most discouraging thing was the pace of play, I was visiting the area, so a single, playing during the mid afternoon Saturday during the hottest part of the day. I wasn’t in a hurry and a couple groups allowed me to play through until I came upon a twosome. After being on the tee box at the same time as them twice, I asked to play through, which irritated them, eventually after commenting on several confusing non golf topics, they allowed me to play through on a par three. I quickly played through. After hitting my approach shot on the very next hole, the same twosome skipped that hole to get in front of me again, and slowed down to ensure we were on the same tee boxes again. There wasn’t anyone ahead of them. I said nothing and settled in for a longer than necessary round. I am disappointed in the course management for not regulating pace of play.

Course is in good condition, the greens had been punched a couple weeks ago and were a little slow and bumpy, but it shouldn’t be a concern in a couple more weeks.

I’ve always enjoyed the course layout. The course is well maintained, with the exception of hole number 4, which is having the fairway worked on, but that was communicated if you clicked on the course details.
Greens rolled true, just a fun course to play.

One of the attractions to playing this course is that the greens are well maintained. The area recently had rain so there were a couple of wet areas, not unexpected, and the sand traps were packed. However, everything was mowed and looked good. Pace of play is the only issue I have routinely experienced there.

Previously the greens were bumpy, but not this time. The greens have recovered, they’re not as fast as they have been, but the ball rolled true. The course is a little low and on some holes, after a big rain, some of the fairways can hold water. The area recently had rain, so a couple of the fairways were soft, but no water standing. Pace of play was good but it did slow down on the back nine. Overall a fun course.

I’ve always enjoyed this course, I like the layout, it has some interesting holes. The front 9 is a par 35 and the back is a par 37. This day the greens were below normal, they had recently been punched, so it was difficult to get a smooth roll. I would give it a few weeks to line out, if the greens come back, it’s a great course.

One of the better courses I’ve played in a while. Everything on the course was in near perfect condition. The greens were flawless. Number 7 is one of the prettiest holes around. A great day!

The greens were punched two days ago, no smooth rolls anywhere. They should really communicate when the greens are subpar.
The fairways and traps were in good condition.
The pro shop is being remodeled as well as the restaurant.
Usually, a good place to play, you should give it a few weeks to get the greens back.

The course layout and fairways were great, lots of water hazards. Greens were bumpy and sand traps lacked sand.

The course was in good shape,especially the greens. Pace of play a little show, 4 hours and 20 minuets. No one regulates pace of play anymore.

I’ve always like the layout of this course, but the greens are infected with Poona grass (or something like that). There’s not a smooth roll anywhere on any of the greens.
The staff is friendly and pace of play was fine, but that may have been because of the lack of players on a beautiful Saturday morning. I’m going to give the course a few weeks to see if they get the greens back.

Friendly staff, course in good shape, but pace of play slow. We were a threesome and after three hours and twenty minutes we had completed only 12 holes. I had to leave early.

Course was in great condition, friendly staff, I was a single and played through several groups.
The only negative was the joggers, bicycles and non players riding around. Once you learned to look out for them the round was fine.

Good course layout. Greens were a little slow and bunkers lacked attention, but overall the gateways and greens were in good condition. Pace of play slower than average.
