Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan - Willow Glen
Played On 03/06/2022Still one of the best around
I have played Willow Glenn many times and it is still one of the best courses in town. The fairways were lush and the greens perfect. Well except for the numerous unrepaired ball marks. But that’s no reflection on the course, just life in the post Covid golf world. If you’re new to the game, please learn proper golf etiquette. You beginners are ruining many wonderful courses by not fixing your ball marks on greens, sand filling your divots, raking bunkers, etc!!!!!!!!!!
PGA WEST Greg Norman Course
Played On 04/16/2022Very Nice
The Norman course at PGA West, personally my favorite of the public courses was in wonderful condition, but the greens were incredibly firm. Tee boxes and fairways were lush and green. The greens however were very fast and very hard. Like cart path hard practically. I know they are new and still getting their legs, but time and time again well struck approaches would not hold the greens. I’m sure in due time they will get them dialed in though.
Pace of play was fantastic. Playing Saturday afternoon of the Coachella Music Fest most likely kept the others away. Lucky us, because we had the whole place to ourselves and had a fabulous time. Highly recommend.
Desert Falls Country Club

Absolutely beautiful course. Extremely friendly staff. Surprising amount of elevation change. No cookie cutter holes. Each one was distinct and interesting. Great course, great price, truly a hidden gem.
Mountain Vista Golf Club - San Gorgonio Course
Played On 03/08/2020Hidden Gem
Thoroughly enjoyed our round. Course is so lush and well maintained not a bad lie anywhere. The white sand bunkers were some of the best I’ve ever seen. As others have mentioned greens were a little ugly in spots but rolled true. I highly recommend this course and for the price $95 Golfnow a steal for prime season in the desert.
PGA WEST Pete Dye Mountain Course
Played On 03/07/2020Everything I expected
Very nice course in good condition. Not easy by any means, but not dyeabolical (Pete Dye course) if you play the correct tees. Greens were pristine and tees and fairways just as good. Bunkers were hit and miss. Front nine is fun but not memorable. Back nine is as spectacular as advertised. Pace of play was horrible, almost 5 hours, but I get it on a weekend in prime season on a difficult course. I highly recommend and say it’s right there with the other top end public courses in the neighborhood.
Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa - Pete Dye Resort Course
Played On 01/11/2020Very nice resort course
Perfect resort course. Not one of Pete Dye’s most challenging courses but a good test for a resort course. Tee’s, greens, fairways and bunkers in great shape. Green rolled probably 9-10 which is about right for the quality of player this course most likely attracts. Staff extremely polite. I highly recommend this course.
Thank you for your review, vestxpress. We will pass along your positive experience to our team at Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa - Pete Dye Resort Course. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
Good condition
I have played this course a lot over the years and this is the best I’ve ever seen it. The sand was deep and nice and fluffy. The tee boxes were well maintained. The green were fast and rolled true. There were quite a few unrepaired ball marks on the greens. That’s not any fault of the course. Just the result of a well priced green fee that attracts the dregs of the golf society that either don’t know or don’t care to replace their pitch marks. The new ownership is doing a great job of restoring a fun and challenging course. I highly recommend you see for yourself.
Thank you for taking the time to review us! Your feedback is valuable, and we look forward to delivering you excellent service again soon! Enagic Golf Club at Eastlake thanks you!
Ancil Hoffman Golf Course
Played On 12/26/2019Nice course
Older, traditional, tree lined course. Sand in bunkers, nice greens, tee boxes in good shape. Nothing spectacular, just a nice older golf course. A little wet but not muddy, would play again.
Heritage Palms Golf Club
Played On 11/24/2019Pristine conditions
Not a brown spot of grass anywhere on the course. Best bang for your buck anywhere in the Coachella Valley. Highly recommend
Heritage Palms Golf Club
Played On 01/07/2018Pristine
I very seldom write reviews but feel inclined. Heritage Palms is the most perfectly manicured golf course I have ever played on. The conditions were pristine. There was not one brown spot or blade of grass out of place on the entire course. When they overseed for the winter they do everything including the rough. So no dormant brown Bermuda anywhere this time of year. The green rolled true and were not super fast or too slow. The fairways were like the plushest carpet in the fancy living room you were never allowed in. The rough was lush and bountiful but not overly penalizing. I cannot stress enough just how well taken care of this course is. It is a semi private course which only posts tee times to the public after their members have chosen. So I am not sure how easy it is to get a tee time normally. I got an online tee time for $85 which is a steal. They could have easily charged twice that amount. I have played most of the higher end public courses in the Coachella Valley and this place's course conditions beat them all.
The course is not difficult with large landing areas off the tee's and receptive greens. The bunkers were perfect with plenty of light fluffy sand. The greens rolled beautifully about 10-11 on stimp. Tee boxes were gorgeous. Pace of play is strongly enforced at 4:15. We had an 8:00 am shotgun start and finished a couple of minutes before noon. Didn't wait on a single shot and never had anyone catch up to us.
I highly recommend this course if it is available over any other course in the valley if you have never played it. It is in absolutely phenomenal condition. It's not super difficult so enjoy the true beauty of the course and go low. You will not be disappointed.
Indian Springs Golf Club
Played On 01/06/2018Great Staff
Indian Springs was a great course. Conditions were fabulous with lush fairways smooth greens and terrific tee boxes and bunkers. Rough was the typical brown dormant Bermuda you see so often this time of year, but it was very easy to play out of. Not a difficult course but challenging enough to keep your attention.
The true gem of this course is the staff. From the cart attendant at the bag drop to the pro shop staff and starter, they were all terrific. The best part of the day however is when I arrived to check in. The pro shop attendant said I had won a daily raffle randomly and I received two sleeves of Taylor Made TP5X balls, a hat and a comped round that day. I was flabbergasted and couldn't believe their generosity.
Indian Canyons is a well maintained and professionally staffed course that I would be more than happy to play anytime I am in the area. It's about half the price of any of the top end public courses in the area and a steal at that. They even have a really cool Hard Rock Cafe style bar and grill. Give them a shot. You will be glad you did.
The Classic Club
Played On 09/15/2017Top Notch All The Way
An absolutely phenomenal course. The most immaculate conditions of any course I have ever played. It was very windy, very windy which is common from what I was told. With that being said it was still worth every penny. Must play for anyone visiting Coachella Valley. Better than all the PGA West courses, Indian Wells or Palm Desert courses. Truly impressed. Well done!!!
Mountain View at Desert Willow Golf Resort
Played On 05/20/2017Well Manicured
Fabulous golf course. The tee boxes, fairways and rough were pristine. The bunkers were filled with plenty of sand and playable. The Greens had been recently punched and were slow. However, they rolled pretty true for having been punched. Once the greens come back this will be one of the finest public/resort courses in Coachella Valley. Course was not difficult if you play the correct tees. Good shot were rewarded and bad shots could be overcome. Look forward to playing again.
