Gem in upper Fort Worth

Drains well, greens in good shape, and neat to be near an air force base. Little noisy.

Hardest Front 9 in Granbury

I'm biased because it's my home course. However, I will try to be factual. Course just spent millions on green and bunker renovation- and you can tell. Fantastic bunkering and greens. Subtle breaks, soft sand and high walls on bunkers could spell trouble. The back 9 is a little more forgiving which means not as long but still have to hit fairway. If you are looking for a challenging, well kept, good food nearby, and friendly people, this course is for you.

Mind Blowing

"Torrey Pines of the Bayou" Breath taking views but hard as heck golf shots. Better bring a range finder and zero in on yardages. If you have a swooping hook or slice- bring 3 dozen balls. Food was fantastic. The course favors the better golfer and straight ball hitter.

Links Style But Not Really

A typical links style has no trees, flat, little water, and lots of bunkers. This course is almost the opposite. It has a tributary running around most of course (waterway), houses are on some holes, and elevation changes. Wind is a factor. Nice views of Granbury and farmland. My only gripe would be greens are seemingly inconsistent hole to hole and for a links style course, below average drainage. Overall, a solid course to play.
