Great condition except tee boxes

This course was in excellent condition and fun to play with one notable exception: the white tee boxes were in very poor condition. I found this very odd considerig how well the rest of the course was maintained. They didn't seem to get the idea of moving the tee markers around and repairing the used areas.

Great value, especially $27.00 greens fee using GolfNow.

Beautiful course!

Atkinson is always in top shape, my only "complaint" is the rough was pretty high, hard to find your ball and even harder to chip out of the rough around the greens. Of course, who's fault is it to be in the rough anyway?

When I booked a Hot Deal, I was warned that there was an "Aeration Warning" but wasn't told that we'd have to play the back nine twice since the front was closed for aeration. No biggie but would be nice to know before I arrived at the course.

Otherwise, fantastic! Great Hot Deal even though I had to play the same side twice.

Very nice track!

It's very early season here in the northeast so the course had little grass growth but was in very playable condition. With all of the cold, wet weather, this course was in very good condition with no wet spots and no limitations of where you could drive a cart. The greens had full coverage but a bit hairy since there has been no chance to mow or roll. On the whole, this course has done a very good job maintaining conditions. I can't wait to go back with better weather/conditions.

Beautiful greens, lousy fairways

I played this course due to the number of good reviews it got and was wondering if I went to the wrong course. If it wasn't for the greens being very good, I probably would have walked off before finishing the round, it was that bad. The tee boxes were spongy, the fairways were atrocious (beat up, unrepaired divots everywhere, thin cover, no consistency), the rough was even worse. There was also no water hazards on the entire course but vast sand areas (traps or waste areas, I never found out) with grainy sandbox type of sand. There were even sand "traps" between holes where they don't belong, very strange.

The most confusing thing that concerned me was the dichotomy of putting great care and money into the greens and letting the rest of the course go to the cows.

Nice course in good condition

This is the first time I've played here and had a pleasant experience. They did have a missing starter so getting off the first tee was a little late and the pace of play wasn't too good, almost 5 hours, but it was midday and there were many people there. The course itself was in very nice condition with excellent fairways and good greens although a little inconsistent on the speed due to grass length. Overall a nice round of golf.

Best course I've played in the area...

After reading the reviews for Indigo Lakes on GolfNow, I was a little leery of playing here but the newer reviews were very good so I decided to try it. This is by far the nicest and best condition course I've played in the area and I've played about 10. The course was in immaculate shape, the greens were the best I've played (rivals LPGA), very fast and true. And the aesthetics of the course are beautiful with lots of lakes and greenery.
The only negative to me was that some of the holes run along 95 but that's a nit-pick. My ratings were based on playing early morning, playing alone and riding. It took me 3 hours for 18 holes. And the staff were fantastic.

Great Course!

I was a bit apprehensive going to this course since the name and reputation was a little daunting, being an average golfer. I expected a snooty country club crowd. However, when I got there and found the staff and other golfers very friendly and accommodating, I was put at ease.

The course itself is beautiful and in excellent shape. The fairways and greens are close to flawless. The full price would have probably not been worth it but using a Hot Deal on GolfNow.com, I was able to get a reasonable rate.

LPGA Hills Course is Awesome!

This was my first time playing this course, and since I haven't played much since back surgery last year, I was a bit nervous due to the stature of the course and environs. Luckily, it was not crowded on a Friday afternoon and the entire experience was fantastic. I played alone, rode a cart, played very quickly which is my preference, and actually shot a 91 (well, maybe a couple of mulligans...) from the Blue Tees. The course is in great shape and the greens are very quick and took some getting used to. The course is "old Florida" with tree-lined holes and almost no houses in sight the whole way. Also has those wooden cart causeways where needed for wet areas. Awesome!
