Played a morning round. Greens in great shape. Heavy rains last night left the course a bit wet, but staff did nice job in preparing course for play. Friendly clubhouse staff.

Had a great round with friends on a sunny fall afternoon. Although rough has been aerated, fairways were clean and greens were running fast. Traps were well groomed. Social distancing and masks in the clubhouse. We let a twosome around us but everyone moving well and we did not wait on any hole. Geese and ducks enjoying the ponds. Recommend you play a round before the winter comes.

We played this course often and are always happy to see that a municipal golf course is in such great condition. Greens are semi fast and smooth. Fairway grasses are well kept. Grounds crew does a nice job.

Course layout is designed to be a challenge from the blue tees but reasonably fair to those seniors and beginners. Back nine has some good holes that challenge the player to hit em straight. Numerous trees and a few water hazards make it interesting.
Clubhouse staff is always friendly and interested in helping your game be successful.
Green fees are comparable to other area courses with discounts for seniors. Memberships are available.

Well maintained public golf course with variety of tee box selections, paved cart paths, nicely maintained bunkers and greens. Pace of play was good with some heavy traffic on the front nine, cleared out a bit on the back. Challenging holes for all levels of golfers. Friendly staff, clean restrooms, snack bar, beer and soft drinks.
New golf carts last year. Driving range next to clubhouse.

Very enjoyable day of golf at Misty Creek. Starter linked me with three people of similar ability to mine. Friendly staff at golf office and day moved along without delays. Course in great condition with nice grass in fairways, greens were quick and true. Layout had good combination of water & sand, doglegs and natural boundaries of palms and mangroves. Lots of wildlife..deer, turtles and birds. Highly recommend playing here.

Played this course with two young men from Maryland. Both were excellent golfers and friendly companions for the afternoon. We played the round in 3.5 hours and just short waits on back nine. Fairways in good condition. Greens were fast and fun to putt. Lots of sand bunkers to keep your game honest. Water holes very limited but need relatively straight shots to avoid OB in housing areas. Some hurricane damage still being addressed but not a big issue. A good course to work on your short game and a good challenge for the intermediate skill golfer. Hope to play again on future trips.

First time playing here. Matched with three family members and had enjoyable round. We were off 30 minutes early and no waiting. Starter was good guy and gave us some pointers on strategy for a few holes. Course layout is challenging from back tees. Lots of sand and fair amount of water. Greens were tough to putt. Need some work. Three putts hurt my score. Fairways were o.k. with a few thin spots. I liked the layout and with some additional work it could be a better course. I will play again if price is right.

First time playing the course and impressed with staff in clubhouse and on the course. Put me with two other singles and let us tee off 45 minutes early. Course in good condition, greens a little slow, but tees, fairways fine. Played white tees and a fair challenge for a 12 handicap 65 year old. If you hit it straight and avoid the water (and the alligators) you will have a fun round. Hope to play again on a return trip.

Five of us enjoyed a late October round of golf at beautiful Brookside Golf Course in Ashland. Greens were fast, a little windy out but a nice 65 degree day at the course. Course is in great shape with leaves being picked up and fairways mowed nicely. Always a friendly staff to great us before and after play. Might be our last round of the season as winter approaches but enjoyed the past year and look forward to the spring and more golf here.

Friendly staff welcomed us to the course. First hole is a big challenge going up a steep hill. Greens are super fast and take some adjustment but true putting. Nice tree lined fairways, bunkers raked and ready for play. Mowing staff was courteous to quiet mowers while hitting our balls. A tough course for the moderate skilled golfer but a beautiful layout and a pleasure to walk the fairways and enjoy the day.

Beautiful course, well maintained, nice flowers, shrubs add to views. Front nine is relatively easier than the back. Several 400 yard par 4s are challenging especially the water holes. Greens were moderately fast and smooth. Easy to putt well.
Staff was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend you play this course if you live in northern central Ohio.

A cloudy day but rain held off until we finished the round in the late afternoon. Plenty of rain has left the course lush and green and few damp spots to avoid in the rough. Traps were in good shape, Greens a little slower than usual. Staff always friendly. A good brat for lunch at the patio. Main problem is the cart paths in the fairway areas need lots of work as they have deteriorated into crumbling pieces of asphalt. Get those repaved and cut the greens a little and you have a very nice course. Nines are organized to have three easy, three moderately difficult and three long and difficult holes which makes for great play and chance to score.

Friendly greeting in the clubhouse for our 18 hole round. Pin placement #5 for the day that can be checked on your golf cart. Greens are a bit slow but grounds in good shape except for several sand bunkers that need work. Front nine has several interesting holes with tough pin placements surrounded by sand bunkers. Length is not an issue but ball placement crucial with many trees lining the pathway. Nice water holes play a role on front and back nine.
Lunch was a selection of wrapped sandwiches along with the normal hot dogs, sausage sandwiches and beverages.
Pace of play was good considering the number of golfers on the course today. Played 18 holes in 3.5 hours .

Beautiful golf course but very slow play due to too many low skilled golfers on the course and no ranger moving things along. Took nearly three hours to play the front nine. Course in great shape and challenging holes and greens as usual. Play continued slow on the back nine although several of the slow players finished their rounds after nine holes.
Great course but needs a ranger to keep things moving.

The course has improved greatly under new superintendent of greens.
Greens much quicker, fairways lush, paved cart paths. Need some work on the sand bunkers but they are working on that.
