As a single, I spent an enjoyable morning playing off the blue tees in the company of two friendly strangers. There had been heavy rain the day before - the rough was long and wet - a real challenge and lack of roll on the fairways (plugged drives) made it play long. Management was friendly in their warnings but had done nothing (zero) to mitigate the rain effects. Bunkers had not been raked, some even had lots of mature weeds growing in them, greens were unevenly mowed as were the fairways. Since we were playing car-path only, we saw a lot of cart path. Many are in serious need of maintenance. Overall, I would have to give the grounds-staff and management a C-minus. On the plus side, I enjoyed the great wild life, expansive views and the great variety of holes.

Hilly course. Would be tough to walk. Spectacular views. Some narrow holes. Many have small fast greens with serious slopes and mounds making putting a real challenge.

Bunkers raked smooth, good sand; greens perfectly maintained, good speed; fairways well maintained; mature trees and plantings. Restaurant-bar comfortable with good service, good food and reasonable prices. Overall, a surprisingly pleasant experience - much better than anticipated.
