Rolling Oaks at World Woods Golf Club

I always enjoy both courses at world woods. This round on Rolling oaks was great as we didn’t see another group until hole 16. No waiting. No holdups. For a Sunday afternoon with 70 degree weather, that is amazing. Greens were a little slower but rolled true.
Timacuan Golf Club

This was a standard middle of Florida course. Lots of water. Good layout. Greens didn’t look great but they did roll very well. No complaints there. Fairways could use some work. Biggest issue was pace of play. 4 hours and 45 mins is unacceptable. It was a busy Sunday. We teed off 1130. The starter was all over everyone’s butt to keep on time. We played hole 1 and there was an immediate backup on 2 tee. The starter was the last employee we saw until club cleaner on 18 green. Not a ranger to be found all day. Other than that place was OK. I would go back again but $30-$35 would be about max price for me.

Amazing course for the price on a Saturday morning holiday weekend. Greens rolled true. Pace of play excellent but that was at 7:30am. Hope it held up all day. Can't wait to go back and play Hills course
