This course is possibly the worst course in South Jersey. I know it is still early, but come on! Fairways are not fair, spotty at best. The greens were aerated, but still awful. There was hardly any sand in the traps. It was in the mid 80's, and no water jugs on the course. It all adds up to a very disappointing experience. Good thing I didn't pay too much. I guess that's why the course was fairly empty. 4 stars? Right. Will not play here again.

The course is under construction in many places and the greens were aerated. There is a lot of slope on the greens which makes putting a challenge regardless of aeration. The fairways are spotty and there are a bunch of bare areas. In my opinion, the 6th hole should be lengthened by 50 yards, cut down some branches, and make it a par 5.

I think that this course is extremely challenging because of the greens. There is way too much slope and they are way too fast. If you are above the hole, the ball better go in or it's gone. They are in decent shape, just too fast. The course used to be in great shape in past years, but only ok now. It will have to be a great price for me to come back to get tortured by these greens again. Right now, I don't want to go there again.

Greens were decent, tees and fairways were OK with some crabgrass. Ground was very hard because of the weather, I assume. Better than their sister course, White Oaks.

There is a reason why this course is so cheap. The only thing half decent about it is the greens. Otherwise, a lot of crabgrass everywhere else, bare spots, rock in all of the bunkers, uneven tee boxes. I played here a week ago, and I would have given the course a 3 star rating. It went way downhill in such a little time.

Do not play here on the weekend. This was the slowest rounds of golf I have played in a long time.. Some of the golfers do not know etiquette at all: stepping in lines on the green, picking up another golfers ball that is in play, hitting into the group in front without yelling fore. We were rolled up on once by a drive. Two holes later, the same group hit by golf bag in flight while I was standing right next to it. Two more holes later, another group picked up my ball, and the group behind them hit my cart in flight with no warning. This course is a joke, and the distances for the holes are incorrect. I play it because it is cheap, but I am going elsewhere even if it costs a little more.

After aeration, the course seems to be coming back nicely. Rough is not great, fairways and tee boxes are ok, great were smooth and fast. All in all, good price for the conditions.

The greens were aerated, but that is not what was bad about them. They were in terrible shape. The fairways were spotty as well. They are trying to get the tee boxes back in shape with new sod on some, but it will be a while before they are good. This course took a nose dive this year. It used to be one of the best kept courses in south Jersey, but since new management took over, it has gone down hill. Will not play there again this year. Hopefully next year will be better.

Tee boxes, were not flat and mostly dirt. Fairways and greens were spotty with sparse grass. Teed off about 20 minutes late because they did not have enough carts. I probably should have given it a 1 star rating, but I like the course layout.

The course is in nice shape, but not enough sand in the traps. The bases of the traps were hard pan, so it was difficult to get the ball out correctly. Really slow foursome in front of us, and the ranger apparently did not care.

On a positive note, the greens were nice. Nothing else was. Fairways were mostly weeds and tees were spotty. The course is too short but tight. If you are not straight, you are in trouble. No ranger on the course keeping the pace steady was a problem with the slow group in front of us.

Terrible conditions. They have lost this course. Very hard ground and crabgrass just about everywhere. There is more crabgrass than grass in the fairways. The greens are in rough shape as well, and a lot of pitch marks that many "golfers" don't fix. Crabgrass around the greens made it very difficult to putt from the fringe or chip. The bright spot - there were a lot of water jugs on the course, which was great on a hot day. Final analysis, go play elsewhere. Oh, did I mention the crabgrass?

Last time I played this course, it was really nice. Today, not so much. Many of the fairways were burned out with very little grass. The tees were not good. The greens were OK but slow. I understand that they have to water a lot because of the extreme heat we have had, but the course is worse than many courses around. Lots of crabgrass. Definitely not worth the price. The pro shop lady had no personality and the starter put a group ahead of us that was supposed to be behind us, and he was a jerk about it. Then he was talking loudly with someone while we were trying to tee off. I am also a bit upset with Golfnow for not letting us know about the true conditions of the course. I would have enjoyed another one. It is definitely not 4 stars. A good thing -There was good, cold water in the coolers.

If your intent is to play cheap golf, then this is for you. If you are looking to play a good course, go elsewhere. Spotty tee boxes, fairways and greens, and no sand rakes. Greens were hard and slow, fuzzy and inconsistent, with huge pock marks (not aeration) throughout most of them. My putts bounced most of the time. I realize it is only April, but these conditions have little to do with April. Also, it was 80 degrees and no water jugs anywhere. I did not have a great round (partially because conditions would not allow it), but I would rather play worse on a better course.

This course is listed as 3 stars. i don't know how anyone in their right mind can say that. The greens were in OK shape, but hard, spotty, and inconsistent and the tee boxes and fairways were terrible. I don't know when the last time it was that they watered the course. The ground was so hard that it was like playing at the British Open. You had to run everything up to the green or was bounced off the back. In the USA we should not have to play like that. One good thing is that I drove the ball very far because of all the roll. If you hit a shot off the fairway, at times there was a dirt cloud. Not good. I give it maybe 2 stars if I am being generous.

I usually enjoy this course and have played it often because of the price. It is a good value for the price, but not a great course. Some fairways and tee boxes were spotty, clumpy rough. The greens were OK. Like many courses, some golfers don't fix their pitch marks. Golfers should take a test on golf etiquette before they are allowed to play (my opinion). It may just be the season, but I have seen this course in better shape. But, all in all, not too bad. Finding balls in the fallen leaves was a chore - lost a couple.

Most tees were unusable because of aeration. Had to tee off in the rough and crabgrass (ridiculous) in front making it a very short course. The tees that we could tee the ball up were full of crabgrass, as well as many of the fairways. It seems that not many people fix their pitch marks on the greens, but the greens were probably the best part of the course (not saying much), although very slow. This is the worst I have ever seen this course. Definitely not worth the money. Should have been discounted more because of the conditions.

Overall a decent course as long as you stayed on the fairway and greens. However, there was a little sand in the bunkers and hardpan underneath. Getting out was difficult and forget about getting it anywhere near the pin. Hitting the green was a challenge. I am generally a good bunker player, so taking 2 to get out of 2 bunkers, and only hitting the green once in 5 tries is not acceptable. These bunkers were not acceptable. Fairways and greens were nice, but off the fairway was burned up.

Quite possibly the slowest greens ever. Most of the tee boxes were not mowed, and the course, in general, was not in good shape at all. I have played this course several times in the past, and it has never been a great course, but at least it was in OK shape. I think that this course attracts people with less knowledge of golf etiquette than most golfers. Very annoying. If you want a relatively cheap round of golf but don't really care about the condition of the course, then go here. I guess you don't get what you don't pay for. One positive thing about the course is that it has a good number of water coolers.

The staff in the clubhouse was friendly as well as the starter. The greens were in poor shape and very sandy even though it was aerated 3 weeks prior. I played there in August 2012 and the greens were completely sand. I don't think there was a green spot to be seen. And they had the nerve to charge full price. One of our carts died on the 9th hole and the other on the 12th. They obviously were not serviced before the round. A rude group behind us hit into us on at least 3 holes and knew they were doing it. If that is the kind of customer they attract, I would warn others against going there. It will be a while before I go back.
