Freezing cold gust at 20mph. made putting tuff, let alone irons and woods. great day, not great scores. cant wait to get back.

even in wet weather, the greens were true and nice. a bit long but who can cut when its raining. i will return.

great improvement from last visit. greens are fast and conditions are great.

Greens were rolling great. Fairways have plenty of water for upcoming summer. West side is mature and lush. Traps have sand. Great day at Blue Rock.

Just like Poppy Hills, all the rough is gone. dont hit a faced iron into the green, it will roll off the back or into a trap. dont slice a drive, it will roll into the woods or bushes or streams. you will lose a lot of balls unless your game is super tight. just like all the lies, super tight lies, every shot. you better work on your chips and wedge play, no cushion grass to help you, all tight lies. and the greens are super fast and hard. like the old roddy ranch in the summer. will return and enjoy tv golf.

was a bit windy but sun was out and great cali winter day. course was in great shape and greens were fast, some faster than others. be careful the wind was so hard it was raining acorns or some kind of seed or large pollen. one green was covered but i still made my 5footer. elevator is a super bonus for the boot camp walk, except you better open the door at the top and take pics because it will go down by itself w/you in it. we rode it twice because we were taking great pics at the top inside the elevator. great day

best day at cypress in forever. have you ever played there with no wind. yep and sun and great conditions. was a day to remember.

Great Fall day. the greens had been sanded not too long ago and the greens where a bit bushy compared to usual. but still they were fair and the day was great.

eagle vizzy is best public track around solano county and napa. hidden brezzy was very nice but they are in a slump and troon needs to fix it up. obviously yocha is best in class in area. get off the couch and get outside. play sum golf.

Never had forced carries off the blue tees with gale force winds where your mind thinks, I might not make it. From the blacks, yes, in the wind, you might go back to blues. But the blues where 10-20yds in front of the whites and still the forced carries, if you never have been before, are the best I have ever seen. I must return to this trak for revenge. Loved my round although I did shoot 106. Very tuff trak if you have never been.

Still the best and only trak with a free elevator ride, just when you need it, after the par3 13th hole. That's about the time when your legs are saying, we could use a quick rest, and there it is after the par 3, a rather large green elevator that provides a great view of the lake as it climbs up the last stretch of great finishing holes. dont get me wrong the front portion has some steep climbs but well worth the hike after you hit 250+ drives downhill. that day I hit the cart path on the 9th and was 10yrds from the green and made bird. great day, was wet but well worth the walk. And the hotdeal price $18 plus subtract $10 off from golfnow. cant beat that anywhere, except for the hotdeal one time i got from Yocha Dehe $35 w/cart. great golf in norcal i must say.

Nice large greens that slope in all the right places. Very nice putting trak. Fairways are dry and you will need to drop if in a dry crevice in the fairway or you will be hitting out of little dry divots that are not from past shots. Bunkers are very dry and no sand but just pick it out like on clay or pine needles, same surface. Do not try to splash out of bunkers as you will blade it or hurt your hands. Tee boxes were great. Great course for the value. Will return.

Have not seen east greens this nice for about ten years. Great job blurok east

great trak and great staff. a few holes were in bad shape. think a virus or disease must have hit the course. all greens were great. just a few fairways were in bad shape. i would play any holey or divot holes not cause by clubs, as ground under repair. only in fairways because usually if you hit a fairway your lie would be on grass unless you land in a golf shot divot. but if the almost entire fairway is damaged due to bad natural conditions, i would take relief. kinda not what is usual but still a great layout and great weather. had a great time and just take relief on those few fairways.

course is drying out like all local courses due to drought. greens are very fast and not forgiving. unless you have played here before the greens are gonna get you. you must be on the correct side on your approach. pin position is usually gonna punish you if you are on the wrong side, so above or below, left or right. the greens feed down the mountain or toward the brooks.

Course was great, weather that day was great, could see Monterey and Santa Cruz. Very best sandwich in the club house, I have ever had at a golf course. They were tearing up Blackhorse so need to return for that side.

Trak is great. Condition is not. Fixing will take time but i have a feeling it wont be long. Just a few months. I will be back for revenge.
