Lost Creek Golf Club

This course is 30 miles above SRT Hwy 121, but it's worth the drive. It's a great track that will challenge your entire bag, including your putter. It is always in "country club" condition, with nice, smooth greens, and very scenic. This course is in my Top 3 public in DFW for sure!
WestRidge Golf Course
Played On 01/25/2020Horrendously slow
Love the track, but it needs marshalls out there pushing the people along. It’s a hack-o-rama and nobody thinking about the people behind. Lying 3, and waiting for the green to clear 200 yds. ahead is ridiculous already. And move up to the white tees dude!
Pine Barrens at World Woods Golf Club
Played On 03/20/2019Challenging track , and 4 hrs well spent .
Pine Barrens - While the fairways may appear to be forgivng from the teebox, angles into these small and fast, undulating greens are extremely important. Placing the shot on the green is key as this is a course designed to challenge your skill and your entire bag on the approach shot. Once you get it on the dance floor, the remaining putt challenge will not disappoint. I will return for another round, (and some retribution), and I can’t wait.
Old at Firewheel Golf Park
Played On 06/10/2018Nice old track
Not the most challenging track in DFW, but has the lines of the older tree-lined holes, and some very quick-rolling and sloped greens. There were some areas around the course (esp. tee boxes) that could use some extra TLC from the greens keepers; i.e., hard pack & bald areas, etc.. But I like the design of the layout, and the greens will challenge you. For the $$, a very good value, even for a Muni track.

One of the best designed tracks in the Metroplex in my opinion. Just love every hole. I wish though that they had the marshalls that they used to have back 5 years ago or more, who would enforce the etiquette and keep the hackers moving. 5:10 is too long to play 18 holes!

Love this track. Every hole challenges you, and I love the wide open scenery. When the greens are winter fast, watch out!
Old at Firewheel Golf Park

I like this course. It is "old", and I like the 'old' designs. I love having a shot into a Par 4, but because I blocked it to the right, I now have to navigate around 1 lone tree, which guards the front right of the green.
The pace was extremely slow; but that's "par for the course" at these rates, and on a Sunday afternoon.
There are 45 other holes at this complex, so this course is at the bottom of the totem pole, esp. for cart girl coverage. We saw her once in 5 hours.
Ridgeview Ranch Golf Club
Played On 07/30/2017No Rangers?
Sunday afternoon, 4:00pm, and the course filling up with 2-somes & 3-somes. I don't know what happened to the course rangers? After hours? Or eliminated? But the pace was so agonizingly slow, just hung it up & went home after 8 holes. This course has a rep for having tough rangers that keep things moving, but they were no where to be found. And with 30+ handicaps hitting from the tips, plus 1 group playing a 5-some, it was torture. Really disappointed.

I love this track. It's a great design. This course does not have 1 hole which was 'stuck' in there because it was the only thing that would fit. Each one has its' own character. The greens were a little browned out & dry, rare for this time of year. They did roll pretty well though. And unfortunately, this clubhouse has an odor in the bathroom area that needs to be addressed. It's been that way for a while. But this is a great track, great value & a nice staff!
Thank you for your kind words! We hope to see you again at the course very soon for another 5-star experience. Thanks for choosing The Bridges Golf Club.
