A little bit of a drive for me, but well worth it. From the second you married the staff is over the top friendly. The free range ball is a pleasant surprise, nice putting green. Great greens, with a very nice layout. Unfortunately for me I turn the ball right to left, and the majority of shots felt left to right. I played it twice in a five day span, both times I hooked up with nice people and had a great time. I am only here another month, but I can tell you, I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!

Love this course, the staff is always very friendly and professional. The fairways are in amazing shape in most areas, the greens are receptive and fast.
My buddy that works on a course down here says that you can usually match the reviews with what people scored. Not always true!!!!!!!!!
I must of shot all of 95, and I use to be to 2-3 handicap, but I have to say:
I LOVE THIS COURSE AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND PLAYING HERE!!!!!!!!!!!
PS. We played as a twosome in about 31/2 hours

Played here last year, the course was in much better shape!! It rained on and off all morning, finally stopping on our 2nd hole of the day, and didn’t rain again. The fairways were a little.bald compared to last year, and the greens, had no texture to them, it was like putting on hardwood floors.
That being said, I would definitely give Continental another chance! I enjoy the layout, and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

One of my favorite courses I’ve been playing this course for over 30 years the condition is fantastic it was a little wet because of the rain obviously they have no control of that but this course actually drains better than most. The entire staff is extremely friendly, and while the restaurant just basically shut for the season apparently still open for outings the restaurant is normally fantastic with a huge outside patio overlooking a pool and the lake. My final comment is about the person running the course Brett who I’ve known for most of the 30 years that I’ve been playing the course, he is as friendly and professional as the day that I met him.

I love this course, I play it all the time it’s in great shape the greens have been amazing for the last six months as summer is now here, the fairways and even the ruff has grown in and now are both are making for a very enjoyable round. Again he needs to understand it’s a job the man gives me an attitude every time I play and eventually I will stop playing the course as nice as it is to play. He discriminates against people that use GolfNow and I feel that’s not right if you’re going to make a deal with GolfNow you should treat GolfNow members like the regular players there should be no difference. I think the GM Will does a good job the course is in great shape and other than Ed, I enjoy everything else about the course.

Greens were OK a little better than most the fairways were nice but the layout in the hills of Ocala make for a gorgeous golf course. There was a nice breeze today course was pretty empty it was a great day and the course like I said was in good shape.

I had play this course about a month and a half ago and it was in amazing shape. I don’t know what’s happened since then but it is not even close to the course I played last time. The greens were still decent but that was it the rest was rough the fairways were sparse and hard the aprons were ugly the rough was ugly course was not in good shape.
I had a great day because I joined the backend of a group of seven members that play all the time and had a great day playing with them. So I did have a good day, but unfortunately at this point this course needs a little TLC.

I went to this course as a single which I often do, and as usual I do the reviews when I’m done. Today I met up with Christain, his son Mason, and another friend of theirs Al who graciously allowed me to play with them, and we had a great time. I’ve only played this course one or two other times, I didn’t remember it which affected my play a little bit. The greens were nice the fairways were nice bunkers were a little bare but overall it’s a very nice course with a nice layout and a great deal On GolfNow. The staff are very friendly and the starter seems like a great guy very accommodating and willing to help.

Are you play this course a couple times before usually in much better shape they had just aerated a week ago it was not listed on the GolfNow app Drove 45 minutes to play on aerated rains. Course was a much better shape two months ago. Actually played with the guy that I played one of my other rounds with who lives there and said the course has not been in great shape recently

First time playing the course I had a great time, beautiful course greens in great shape fairways are very nice, tee boxes are rough. I joined up with three guys that play the course regularly, and proceeded do you have a great day. Thanks, Cole, Dave, and Carlos, you welcomed me into your group, and I would say we all had a good day. The amenities are as good or better than I’ve seen of any other course in the area full service bar and snack shop open. Great layout very scenic, not the toughest course I’ve ever played but I only played it from the white tees which is slightly under 6000 yards. I shot 79 with a Bertie and a double bogey on both nine‘s and again had a fantastic time. I will definitely be back to play again.

Another great day at the shores course is in fantastic condition and for some reason it was completely empty at 10:30 this morning never waited never kept anybody waiting it was a very enjoyable day went as a single got hooked up with a very cool a little bit older gentleman Stan and we proceeded to have a great time.
I put reviews of this course up before and I will stick to what I always say they have some of the best greens within 30 or 40 miles easily if not farther and the fairways in nice nice shape also it’s just a great experience overall.

This course is a gym near Ocalla the greens are as good as any I have played within 50 miles. It’s a great layout and overall in good shape and the only reason why I gave it three stars for pace of play was today happens to be very slow sometimes you get through in 3 1/2 hours.

Course is in good condition always a good time. I have played there seven or eight times in the last four months and I’ve enjoyed every round. Beautiful course very scenic lots of alligators to look at nice layout

Overall great course
greens are overall very good and they are six or seven of them that are truly magnificent absolutely pristine. The fairways are OK as good or better than most of the courses but like most of the other courses time of year plays a role in their condition. Pace of play was fantastic today we waited literally 45 minutes maybe two or three times all day

It was a great day overall for singles met up on GolfNow and had a great time course is in fantastic shape greens are a little slow but very nice and the fairways are as I said spectacular. Overall it was a great day I will definitely be back

Becoming my favorite local course, The greens are the nicest greens in the county the rate is great the staff is very friendly the layout is amazing most fairways a reasonable summer a little rough summer very nice rough is average with everybody else but those greens are spectacular. Great layout overall great course today the starter said was the busiest day of the year it was a little slow but it still took between 4:15 and 4 1/2 hours which isn’t the end of the world.

First time playing I was very impressed with the fairways, the greens were nice, the teas were also nice , I’ve been playing a lot of golf recently and a lot of courses on GolfNow and for this area and this time of year these fairways were very nice..

I had a great day, weather was fantastic, pace of play was great, only complaint is they verti cut the greens probably 10 days ago, they played well, but I would’ve appreciated knowing in advance. I went as a single, I joined up with a threesome of members that live on the course, and ended up having a fantastic day. I hope I don’t get anyone’s name wrong but thank you Bill, Bob, and Ron for not only inviting me to play with them, but tolerating me all day long. I will definitely try to get back to this course.
