Pays Basque is a land for golf.Many, men,women,young,old play golf.Sometimes you could think you are in Scotland . Chiberta is a mix of parkland and links style golf course . The greens looks like some you can play in the East Lothian couses .
All players has to have at least a 35 handicap to be allowed to play . Don't forget to book a tee time because Chiberta looks like an US golf course tee#1 all the day !! If you swing by South west of France, something like a Bordeaux experience .. take few days more and play Chiberta !

If you plan to stay in Deauville or Trouville or Pont-L'Evêque or maybe Honfleur and you want to play a quiet golf course.. this is the place . Driving range, short game and putt practice , restaurant, not too much people. The course is not easy but not hard a fair one except maybe one or two holes .

As a first time here I can say this course is really nice to play and more challenging that it looks not the fairway but the green as usual with a JNicklaus design some deep bunkers always at the right place to let you know that if you want to play the par you have to be good !!

Nice course, greens in very good condition, much par 4 and quite challenging. A bit pricey .

Staff friendliness .. not really to start well as a first time at this course . Hole #1 we were 3 players no one as understood right were was the hole and flag - pace of play fair but not much as long there was 3 caddies behind us - this course is more a mountain race than a real course to play, I was not able to improve my golf . Sincerely it was not a good souvenir and I will forget it . Bad experience. The be fair enough - good thing was the view and the putter greens condition.

As a first at this course I can say that unfortunetely the group of players who played before us was mostly rude and looked to don't really know how to play , the pace of play was obviously poor . the fairway was not in good condition and the layout was not really interesting . I cannot say that the value for price is fair . A first and a last time at this course .

i am a lucky man I live near this golf course. Nice parkland, 2 hundred years trees, this country course is a bit challenging with up and down hills some long par 4 , hidden hole par 5, very often lies with slope, thick rough. It is not an easy one but even your are a beginner as me, you want to challenge this course ! Some times you are alone to play and feel you are lucky to play at a kind of private golf !! If one day you stay around take time to play there . It should be a nice souvenir . US,UK, Aussies golfers feel free to email me if you need infos and directions .

A first for me and the second time playing a real links. Challenging for my level, nice and tricky putting green and few bunkers at the right place to take care about . The environment is poor with the train track near some holes. But a very good experience. Staff very friendly and course condition really good. Just a bit pricey !

A first for me to play a links . Challenging and windy . The environment is really nice until the sunset . Many members or clients from the lodge started to play a 9 at 4-5pm during summer . The mood when the sunset is lovely and you can see a hare crossing the fairway or waiting you finish your stroke .. yes . If you never play a links a real one Craigielaw is a good first experience - Stay at the lodge is also lovely , you can play a 6 at no cost and practice at a pro driving range . Really a good choice !

first time I play in Florida the weather is very hot I don't use too !! this course is nice with trees not too many people, little bit challenging good course conditions staff friendly value for the money, next I will be around I'll play at Windermere !

as every know golf is a question of technic but also many in our each mind, I don't like this course that's it ! Sure it is a challenging one, few holes are not easy and it is a good thing to try to go at a next level . Staff is not very friendly, the practice ball bucket is too expansive with some brocken balls in, the pratice range is average . I will not recommended this course !
