We carts were nice, except ours was a dud. It was rough going pushing it quite a few times to get it to go. Then didn’t really appreciate the lady in the pro shop arguing with me about it not working. The gentleman outside was very pleasant and agreed there was something wrong with the cart and pushed it to the barn.
The greens are in terrible shape and that was a bit disappointing….not sure what they are doing to correct the issue with the greens, but a discounted green fee should be implemented.

Pace of play was slow, Marshall helped some with moving folks ahead that were causing backup. Greens were a bit rough…not in the best shape. Course was nice enough.

This is my second time to play this course, hubs first. I love this course and would play here any time I am in the area. We played Troon North the day before and were disappointed in the condition of the greens….making Rancho Manana an even better choice.

We had a a great time, course was in nice condition and pretty. Challenging but not too difficult. Only issue was pace of play…the foursome in front of us was painful slow and we didn’t even understand what they were doing just standing around most of the time. We finally got around them at the turn but by then the time damage had been done. A Marshall on the course to help with pace of play would have been very much appreciated. We will definitely be back and make it a standard in our monthly rotation.

The course is surrounded by natural beauty that can’t be beat. We saw deer while playing and the views of the lake and down the tree lined fairways was awesome. The course could use some maintenance, some of the greens are still in pretty bad shape from, I assume, last winters terrible freeze and there were quite a few tee boxes that were just plain bad. The fairways also need to have the turf cleaned up to remove a lot of weeds. It’s a pretty challenging course with narrow fairways and quite a bit of uphill play. We did enjoy our day there (even with fighting through a couple hours of rain sitting under trees, but we made that decision to play) and we would definitely play again when in the area.

What a great short course to enjoy. Was driving through AZ and wanted a quick, not too pricey, round one morning before continuing drive fro Cali to Texas. This place was so beautiful and peaceful. Would play here everyday if lived in area! The staff was great, and did a fantastic job dealing with the frost delay and rearranging to get everyone off as timely as possible.
Will definitely return!

I was a bit disappointing in the condition of the greens....they had ALOT of crab grass on them which n more than one occasion affected putts. Also the tee boxes on several holes were so hard I could not come close to getting a tee in the ground...so had to search and try to find a spot. Fairways on some were a bit hard and super dry, which I found odd considering the amount of rain the area has had....so left the impression they were not watering or monitoring course conditions appropriately. (Which based on green conditions must not be) For the cost I just thought the course should have been in better shape. I would not pay full price to play here.
