Played On 01/30/2020Decent course shame needed matts wasn’t advertised pre booking
Good course quite long. But I’d say very much a summer course certain parts where very boggy and unfortunately not owning a matt (didn’t realise before booking matts where needed. Should really advertise on GolfNow or wouldn’t of booked it) otherwise fairly good layout to course and some very good pin positions. Greens were pretty good considering how wet most of the course was. Lost a few balls to plug lies and took a few minutes to find the odd ball in the middle of the fairway. We teed off at 12:44 with nobody in front of us for miles. Flew round first 12 in under 2 hours with no issues until on the 13th two women cut over (from hole adjacent) and teed off in front of us as we crossed road to play the 13th this slowed us down so much it took us another 2 hours to finish the remaining holes finishing just before darkness ensued.. slightly disappointing finish to a okay round of golf. I’d recommend this course in the summer when dry but for winter there’s quite a lot better for the £15 price we paid.. if your playing in the winter Bring your welly’s.

Played On 05/10/2017Course in great nick. But new bloke in pro shop a wally.
Course was in best nick I've ever seen it absolutely rapid and bouncy really in need of good control to score well. But they've recently employed someone new in the pro shop and he is absolutely terrible. They had confirmed my tee off time yet when I arrived at schedule time I had 4 4 balls infront of me all waiting on the tee box and they wouldn't let me play through as they were in a competition between themselves. Asked if I could start on the 9th got told no chance previous there have let me. After 3-5 35 min holes I jumped over to another bit of the course and played 8 more before it was dark. Ruined my round and wasted my day someone else should be put in charge
