Course was in good condition. Green speed was a little inconsistent but the greens was lush and healthy.

Played this course about a year ago and over that time the fairways and greens are better and seem to be trending up. Straight forward layout, the surprising part of the course was the greens. Though the greens looked as if they were aerated about a month or so prior, they still had descent speed and rolled true. Not to much trouble tee to green, for a GolfNow hot deal would definitely play again.

Played this course a few times this year and each time ita has gotten worse. I figured it'd somehow get better bc how could any management think that conditions like they have are worth charging for!? This course is officially a POC. It truly looks, condition wise, as if they dont care. Maybe they are understaffed or something but management needs to think real hard as to what direction they want to take this course bc it has so much potential. My suggestion is to close it if these are the conditions that will be the norm. Fairways look like the rough, greens look like a dog with a skin disease, oh and top of that the pin placements look like they haven't been reset in a few days bc the grass is growing into the cup.

Overall the layout was pretty nice. Good mix of long and short holes, variety of doglegs allow for the shot maker to have fun. No real danger other than some tree dense lateral hazards, course is a bombers paradise, well to it was. The only down fall was the greens, which according to the staff wasnt much they could have done. Winter grass that was planted burned out because of the hotter than normal winter and the spring grass frozen because of the colder than normal spring. When the greens heal, this course will be nice one. Back 9 greens are in better shape than the front but run really slow, not sure about other golfers but id rather not feel like I'm crushing the ball while stroking a 6ft putt.

Played Silverthorn a year ago and there were definite changes for the better. Nice course in the brooksville area.

Pretty good layout, nice mix of holes. Greens were recovering from aeration. Fridges and fairways need attention but overall for the GolfNow Hot Deals price of $7 it was worth it.

27-Hole course, 1 of the 3 9's were closed but all in all good course. When the wind blows, the course can be a little tough. Greens are of ok condition, few are really sandy though probably bc the course sits below the sea level and is in a continual state of "sog". I sure when this course bakes out it is amazing! All in all, the golf deal with range balls, 2 for 1's, lunch and unlimited golf is a steal!

The elevation change was great. The fairways and greens were in pretty good condition. When the wind blows the course can be tricky but fair and fun! The speed of the greens was moderate to fast and grain on the greens really come into play, I had a few putts up hill down grain that were faster than downhill putts in to the grain. Really enjoyed playing this course!

The only thing that made this round less than perfect was factors the course could not handle. Rain in the area over the days leading up to my round was significant but the course was relatively dry. Greens rolled true and speeds were consistent throughout the round. I enjoyed the course and will play here again in the future!
