Palatine Hills Golf Course
Played On 07/26/2019Nice course. Nice rolling hills for a Chicago area course. Greens were in great shape. We played 18 in three and a half hours on Friday at 11:30 am.
The only drawback is the last three of the last four holes are in a flood plane and are very wet to unplayable if there has been significant rain.
Fortunately, it had been dry for several days prior to our round so we had no problems on the finishing holes.
Everything else about the course is well worth the money.
Bowes Creek Country Club
Played On 08/31/2017Liked the course. 133 slope from the white tees shows how tough it is. Good design and conditions. Significant elevation changes which is unusual for the Chicago area. Winds were blowing 15-20 mph which made the course even more challenging. The group in front of us were slow but the Rangers got on their case and they played the back nine at a better pace. This is one of the few courses I've played where the Rangers unforced a pace of play. I compliment them for that.
