Course is in very good shape with greens that hold. More challenging than it appears on the card. Course plays long with elevated greens and varying terrain.Friendly staff inside and out! You will enjoy playing this course.

This course is in terrible condition. There is no grass! It looks like a non-watered course in August. Greens are sporting and in horrible condition. Course is almost unplayable. This is the only golf course housing development that I would discount the golf course lots as your view of a dead course is not a plus! I feel sorry for any homeowner who paid to have a home on this course. Proper charge to play this course in its present condition ...$5.00 and they would need to include cart; lunch; 2 beers and a sleeve of balls. Save your money...play anywhere else until they get this straightened out.

Lake Valley in Camdenton is in great shape. Greens are holding great and fairways are nice and plush. Great Value! People running the operation are very friendly and off course amenities are very nice. Gives you the "feel" of a very friendly golf experience. Try it, you will like it!

All three nines at this Palmer course are above average in layout and condition. The Mountain /River is an excellent combination. The conditions are very good this year from tee to green and the greens are excellent. They hold your shots into them and roll very true and quick. A really great golf experience. ($2.00 drafts in the clubhouse after the round are ice cold and served by a friendly staff.

A great layout and property as noted by the slope rating. You have to think your way around the course. Slope of 140 plus describes the degree of difficulty. Greens are in great shape and good speed. Give the course a shot, but be sure to keep concentrating on your game vs the scenery or your scores will reflect your lack of concentration.

Potential of entire 27 hole property is there.....they just need to work on the daily maintenance of the course....course needs more mowing and detailed general care. Greens are quite slow but very nice. Value for the cost is fine if you use the Golf Now opportunities, otherwise too pricey for the present condition of the course. I will play it again in a couple weeks to check out any improvements in general maintenance.

Condition of course is bad; turf is almost none existent. Roughs don't exist..just hard dirt. Greens are very long and extremely slow. Pace of play was terrible....on par 3's as many as 4 groups waiting. No Rangers....clubhouse facilities old and tired. This place needs a total renovation...course and facilities. Grass seed and water would do wonders!

Very playable course....2 very distinct mine hole layouts....front is flat while back I had many elevation changes. Both are fun to play. Lots of play during season but they try to keep everyone moving at a good pace. Give JRanch a try!

Nice golf course that has great flow. Very playable with 4 tee options. Nice sand in traps makes them fair to play from. Greens are a bit firm and somewhat hard to hold.( typical of the Valley to hold up under all the play). I will play this course again. An enjoyable round of golf.

Strategy and ability to make shots are vital to scoring here. Greens seem really hard and tough to hold...probably to handle all the play. Course is picturesque.

Greens awesomely quick.....stay out of the traps if you want to score....they are very strategically placed. Love playing a top course in under 4 hours!
