Course conditions weren’t good as the sand blended in with the course. Signage could have been better. Bring colored balls.

The course conditions are still in the process of improving. First you need to realize that this course has been in less than average conditions for years. So it's nice to see that the new management group is committed to making the course and off course amenities first class. With that in mind play and have a good time, we did!

Be prepared that this isn't the old Shorecliffs. The course is under a major upgrade so your GPS watch may not sync with the righty hole. They do have new carts finally. The staff are new and are eager to help. They mean it when they say you will be taken off the course if you bring in alcohol. They Marshall's are helpful with course navigation and pace of play. Take plenty of balls and be prepared to lose them. We played there twice in the past two weeks so this is my observation over those two times-just sayin..

We had lots of fun. The starter, Jeff, did a great job yukking it up with us prior to our 9:06 tee time so our four some didn't catch up with the group ahead of us until hole 11. The reason for the one star on course conditions is the construction going on. And no notice of the green movement on 9 wasn't mentioned.

Had an 8:45 tee time and was told there would be an hour frost delay. Went to the range hit a small bucket. The starter then asked us if we were ready and sent us out between groups playing in a shotgun start. What a great idea!. Played the front nine in 2 hours 15 minutes and the back nine in an hour. Look forward to playing here again

It took 5 hours to play which was unusual. Prior rounds were 4:00 to 4:15. Usually the marshalls go a good job of keeping groups moving. Holiday??

Played the Destroyer course after hearing about it from my friends. 10 am start course was still wet-overcast day. Dried out by noon. No issues with the course. I wish one of the staff would have explained how the pace of play timer works. We thought we were ahead of schedule but were behind. As an ambassador at another course I realize how important that is. I would have been more pro active with the twosome we played with.

They take reservations for singles but you must share a cart otherwise they want to charge an additional $13. I expected to play with another twosome or three but did not want to have to share a round with a total stranger. I will not play here unless I book it for two.
