Riverside Golf Club & Banquet Center
Played On 07/17/2016I've played the best courses in Michigan.
I have played Arcadia Bluffs, Tulleymore, and Forest Dunes this year, and the greens at Riverside Country Club are on par (excuse the pun) with the best in the state. Elevated greens always make for more of a challenge and that is the same here. Very hard to read the greens, subtle breaks that look like they could go either way, but large and easily accessible.
Olde Mill Golf Course
Played On 05/07/2014Olde Mill was a nice course.
Grounds had taken a beating from the extra long winter, but conditions were better than expected. Nice greens. I got a deal on Golf Now.com so my price was very inexpensive. Regular rate not bad though. Clubhouse under construction when I went on 05-07-2014, so no beer available. Call ahead to see if you should bring your own. No food or beverage available so couldn't give a rating for that.
Bedford Valley Course at Gull Lake View Golf Club and Resort
Played On 04/12/20141st time golfing this year
Course was in good shape for not having any warm weather yet. Alot easier to play before the rough grows thick.
Stonehedge South Course at Gull Lake View Golf Club and Resort
Played On 10/24/2012Stonehedge South lives up to the standards set by the Scott Family.
Did a great job trying to keep up with the leaves. If you have trouble with your driver like I do you will like this course. Fairways are tight and mostly lined with trees but not as long, so you can reach easily using a 3 wood or less on some holes. Very generous sized greens protected well by bunkers.
