Legacy has always been a decent public course. But this time the course had a lot of dry spots in the fairways and tees. About half the greens were in good shape. The driving range had very little grass. We were mostly hitting off of dirt/sand.

This was the first time I've played Legacy in the winter. It hasn't rained very much so maybe they're not turning on the sprinklers? Also, being wintertime, the course is getting a lot of play.

Would I go back? Not with University Park nearby and at the same price. The three star rating is because I've played it when it was in great shape. Otherwise, it would be two star.

The course was in very good shape. Tee boxes, traps, fairways, and greens were well maintained. I was a single and the staff paired me up with two other singles.

I haven't found a better value for the money in the area. It was my first time playing the course but I'll be back.

Great layout but needs some care. Lots of weeds and crabgrass. Greens were OK but had some bare spots. The course jammed up after 4 pm. The rates drop very low then. I was making the turn, got to hole 11, and went home. So if you're going to play it, play it early. Plan to finish by 4.

Would I go back? Well, other reviews say they're trying to improve the conditions so I'll wait a month or so.

Pace of play was great as was the staff. Greens and fairways had a good amount of crabgrass on them. Greens were very slow. Puddles were on the course without it raining for days.

I don't remember this course being neglected like it appears to be now. If you're not a serious golfer or a beginner, this is a fine place to play. However, go elsewhere if you are looking for grassy fairways.

For the most part, the tee boxes and fairways were in decent shape. The greens were almost un-puttable. Wouldn't play this again. Spend another $10 and go play somewhere else.
