This is an old style ( my definition ) golf course with big wide fairways while still being between houses. Great for enjoyment and not worrying about hitting peoples houses. Don't be fooled though that does not make it easy as holes still have doglegs and water etc.
Staff was friendly and helpful when needed.

We checked in about 2 hours early and asked how busy they were. Proshop staff ( very good ) said not very with the heat and tennis etc. So went and hit some balls and then went to first hole about 35 minutes early to putt etc. No one around but starter came shortly. We asked if we could get out early but no way. No one was on the course as far as we could see so we asked if there was another group or two teeing before our time. We were curtly told yes and no way were we getting out early. I asked if we were joined with another twosome and was advised yes. There was another twosome there with a later start time than us so we asked about them joining us and teeing off and let the others join up. We were told no there were others going before us. We waited until our tee time and no one teed off during the 35 minutes we were waiting nor had any one teed off at least an hour ahead of us because we played in under 4 hours and never saw any one in front of us at any time. The first twosome who had a tee time 32 minutes after us were immediately allowed to tee off after us. This world has lost it's common sense, when that 35 minutes passed it could never have been sold again. If they had let us go they may have had walk ons that they could have accommodated but not after letting the tee box sit empty for well over an hour and possibly longer. We booked through Golf Now so I think you need to check to see if golfers booking through you are treated differently than booking direct with the course.

For a first time the course was in front of you and you could see it. Elevated greens in most instances say you need an extra club coming in. The starter was good about mentioning that. Interesting split fairways in some instances and some gullies below fairway level penalized you for being off the fairway but better than deep rough. As it is through a development some long walks from green to the next tee, consider a cart in the heat.

This is a good course fairly challenging especially from the Blue tees. The greens had been worked on but I found them to be in better condition than the fairways which were recovering from the rain in the last few weeks. Not muddy but not far from it. Rated the food etc down as the clubhouse was closed when we finished which was about 5pm.
There was an added bonus of the Snowbirds demo team practicing for this years air shows.

I have played this course a number of times over the past 15 years. It is a very good layout and the back nine in particular you need to hit where you should in order to score. The condition was good or excellent if you take into account the time of year. I enjoy playing here and will do it a few times this year as I usually do despite being a member at another course and living in another city.

In playing a number of courses lately this course still has everything. A great course with an above average driving range, chipping and putting areas and one of the best club houses on the island. Despite the rain you are still able to compress the ball as the drainage is very good and can be played all 12 months of the year. Lots of tees so you can find one suitable for your whole group. Play it and enjoy.

I have not played this course for probably 10 years. I would say it was in better shape now than at times in the past. It meanders around a subdivision of very big beautiful houses, some of which have great salt water views. They are not as intrusive as other courses though as they are elevated to the fairways. There is quite a distance between some greens and the next tees and some elevation differences. This makes for some good air as you hit off some of the tees, so it is fun. A mature course so there are lots of beautiful trees and water. All in all another good day playing golf.

This is an above average course that I have played before. They had punched the greens a few days before so greens were a little slower than usual. We all know though that is part of maintenance and shows they are doing it. I have played the greens in the summer and they are fast and have lots of contour. I think this course held an LPGA tournament or was rated for it a number of years back so that is the quality of it. All in all a great day.
