What a mess!

Teeing off behind large wide mowers disclosed 100yard long 14
to 24 inch wide stacks of fresh cut wet grass...that alone lost me 12 new balls, clung to shoes, feet, calves, cart wells. Between these100 yard long zigzagging stacks was only 6-9 feet of playing room! Any tree, bench, sprinkler head was between 1-2 feet of uncut grass spreading in 6 to 12 foot irregular circles where balls we're swallowed balls and biting flies as well. Every bunker was hard packed and wet with no chance of play. Everything was wet wet. The rough averaged 8-12" also often close to the green.
Positively, the too long grass was vibrant green and healthy and greens though too moist and soft, well maintained. Normally a 25, I shot my highest round in 55 years of 130
