We play both Knollwood courses several times a year and usually enjoy the round. We booked this course because they were allowing carts out (restricted to the cart path) after all the rain we've had lately. Knowing it would be a little on the wet side, we went ahead and played. A little on the wet side was not an accurate descriptor of the conditions: most of it was either under water or a complete mud bath!!! We were happy to get out and play mid-October, however we felt the course shouldn't really have even been open as wet as it was

Last played this course over a decade ago and wonder why I waited so long to come back. Great course, nice layout however it certainly is challenging. Two issues: the marshall was asking us to pick up the pace of play on our 13th hole, however we putted out and were waiting behind the group ahead at the next hole, a par 3?!?!?!??!? Second concern was the condition of the rough, if you were off the fairway the grass was quite thick and inhospitable, lost a few balls because of it. All in all a great course, we'll be back!!

Whirlpool is a great course, albeit long. The course was in decent shape, although a few of the greens and fairways were in less-than-perfect condition. We were paired up with another twosome who were a fair bit slower, and halfway through the Marshall split us up, thinking it would speed us up (!?!??!). By the end we were all waiting at every tee. One big complaint was the tour helicopters that were overhead almost the whole round, very distracting to the game, made us feel like we were in a war zone the whole time!

I had been wanting to play this course for a while, however I found the weekend price a little high. Finally snagged a deal on a weekday and was very glad I did. Course was in immaculate shape, the staff (with one exception) was very friendly and helpful. Holes are challenging but not unplayable for an intermediate golfer like myself. Would definitely play this course again!

Course was in great shape except for the greens just having been aerated. This was not noted on the tee time advertisement.

Course was well maintained, pace of play was not bad for a weekend round. They are a little pricey on the weekends but overall a decent round of golf close to home.

Beautiful course, was in excellent condition despite the rain. Gorgeous track, well worthy of its reviews. Would play again in a heartbeat.

The Lakeside Course at Deerhurst is a decent short course in fairly good shape. Some of the greens were in less than perfect shape but generally the course was in good shape. Playing by myself, I found that the family-friendly nature of the course did not lend itself to a quick round, but for what they are appealing to, it's a good play. A little pricey for what you get but a decent course nonetheless.
